Describe the issue: "Red hot" treasure detector leads to empty spots?

How to reproduce: I have found a tile where the treasure detector shows "Red hot". I dug it, but nothing was found. I scanned the tiles right around, and it shows "Very hot" so this should be the right tile to dig ?

Altough perhaps an important detail to note : There was a tree on that tile, and when I tried to dig it, It made me hit the tree. To the point then I tried then to cut the tree entirely but still no treasure found.

Red dot is where "red hot" was showing. And the orange dots were "very hot". There was a bunch of trees there.

Edit : Tried to dig in the spot again AFTER cutting the tree : still no luck found, despite the tile being red hot.
