Necromancy will enable Djanemba to reach into the lifestream and tear away souls to do his bidding and to empower both him and them. The more he has, the larger his legion will become, and the closer he'll be towards creating his realm of corruption.

Evelyn explained everything to him, and every single step was committed to memory. Now, the demon just had to put it to practical use and master the art on his own through working with the corpses beneath the ground.
