i've made a lot of new friends lately
a lot of them say the same thing to me.

"You're going places, kid."

"You have the potential to be something great."

"HEHEHEHE BOOOHOHO"

"Someday, you'll be like me."

sometimes it's very overwhelming.
like a cacophony of voices chanting at me when i make a decision.
i wonder if people in the past had their futures told
and had so many cheer them to be more.

but even still
i dream of the castle, and see clearly who's inside.
protected from the flames outside in his tower of glass
