The sun bled.

It's glorious rays shined blood-red light upon the lands of Esshar, even if for a few, fleeing moments.

A horrifying, but also awe-inspiring image to behold. The depravity ran through the land, like a wave, it awakened those sleeping within- and those who who were in a deeper slumber? Heard a call.

Despite such strong presence of depravity, one could feel... Clarity?

An odd sense of amazement slowly turned into new, ideas, a lightbulb which turned on one's drive to learn. Should such drive become unbearable, they would hear a call, a raven's caw. An assertive voice but also a quiet murmur, which would lead them to the source of such phenomena.

The blood-stained light however, wouldn't disappeare from the woods, no, it festered. It was clear that the ancient corrupted forest was coming closer to it's fruition, the depravity that run within it couldn't simply be dispelled, the thick trees could not be burned- no, it would take more than just a single swoop.
