With the growing interest in serving in the militant arm of Aphros, Aphros' Bastion, from the youths of the city- a proper event is to be held to test the will and skills of those ambitious few.
The event will begin with a gathering of those who make their interest known to the Knight Captains outside of the castle, along with the Knights of both Umbra and Astral being called to attend.

Only those who have filled out this form, and the Knights present, will be able to participate. 

One a proper count of those present is taken, the aptitude of the squires-to-be shall be observed via a series of spars that will be held outside of the city itself. Once the aptitude are measured, both the Knights of Umbra and Astral shall be called to pick a Squire to personally train and watch over. No squire is going to be expected to be locked into a sect until they are of age, and is recommended to try and learn of both sects in equal measure to make a better decision into adulthood.

Squires will be expected to train and be tutored by their Knights, and also go to Bastion-wide training drills.

Knights will also be open to spar and shake off the rust- and perhaps even show off to the squires-to-be to assist them in visualizing where they seek to grow.
