Within Aphros, a multitude of witches have been persecuted and dealt with swiftly; with several members of House Beauvoir as well as the former Umbra Knight Captain Orexius Walt being confirmed as practitioners of witchcraft, ultimately leading to their execution. A lack of concentrated effort against the Cult of Misfortune, as well as continued assaults against Aphrosian citizens has left those of the Bastion quite frustrated with a handful of Knights deciding that something needed to be done about it. There have been a number of rumors about a coven of witches gathering within the tucked away parts of the Shadowlands- a bit too deep for the full military to handle. Because of this, Gnash has gathered small unit of Umbra Knights has been gathered together to do what needs to be done. And hopefully keep their sanity while they're at it; the dark tends to be full of terrors after all
