An aspiring Mycologist simply could never resist the mentions, rumors, and hopes of yet-to-be discovered mycelia. And what better place to beckon such curiosity of the unknown, than the bowels of the Shadowlands? A small rumor had reached their ears, after all, that deep below the surface supposedly awaited a fungal anomaly unlike any other! Thus, the beginnings of organizing a field study would be made. Preparations to venture out, catalogue, and take samples of whatever strange delights (and horrors) awaited below the tainted earth.
