Though most folk chalk it up to being a folktale of some sort, or just one of those scary stories kids are told when they are bad, with how crazy things are in Meranthe on an average basis why wouldn't someone try to look into the rumors of Stinnox Riders in the west? The Silent Expanse is home to all sorts of weird creatures and even weirder people, and when you put those two together you're bound to get something that you probably don't want to deal with...

In skitters the fabled Stinnox Rider Clan, what largely started off as a group of bandits has changed. Adapting to their environment they have began to tame and breed the Stinnox to do their bidding. Smaller ones acting as attack dogs while the large ones act as mounts for their masters. A scourge to the sands, who better to stop this gang of blood and coin thirsty marauders then a group of kids who have barely reached their teens?
