Rumor has it that deep within the Silent Expanse lies an abandoned shrine dedicated to the Divine Spirit of the Sun, Jiuweihu. What was once a popular site for worshippers of Luminism to congregate and give thanks to Her Honorable Incandescence is now heavily dilapidated and covered thickly in sand. Any wanderer to come across it would be attracted by the mystique of its state. What could have happened to where it was left like this?

Some attribute it to bandits sweeping through the holy site at night, killing and plundering in their wake ... 

Others argue that an undiagnosed flame magi in their congregate contracted the infamous red psychosis and went on a massacre during a fit of lunacy ..

. 

Or it could be as simple as the followers flocking elsewhere when the shrine's foot traffic gradually began to diminish. Worshippers of the Sun Goddess are not so easy to happen upon these days.

However, one thing remains constant is the account of a figure likened to the appearance of a Divine Master of Ceremonies, or a "Kannushi" who sits postured in meditation within the worship hall; here they forever contemplate the same question(s) that had haunted them in their waking life.

"It's better to see it for ourselves, right Yako? If what is rumored to be true, then it is our duty as instruments of Jiuweihu to intervene. Maybe then they will find the answer they seek in eternal rest, for their dawn must inevitably come to dusk, as balance wills."
