There are various ruins of the peoples that once inhabited the great plains and not-quite-subtropical jungles of the Silent Expanse from yesteryear, hidden deep beneath the stony chasms and desert dunes. An Animunculi by the name of 'Reeds' is commissioning an expedition comprising of the Final Frontier's finest to go spelunking for anything relevant to the Institute's interests,

And the machine funding the supplies for this has a hunch that its master wants something from beneath those ancient cities...
