Several years ago, there was a phoenix that passed down the art and knowledge of healing flames in the form of a tome to the Dragon Phoenix known as Tristinia. And now, decades later, the children of the Dragon phoenix seek out that same phoenix once more to seek out the knowledge of their flames themselves and to undertake the trials that were once laid out before their mother.

Hausos and Renee now travel to the volcanic mountains of the destroyed Vdalion to seek them out for the purpose of undertaking the Path of Phoenix fire. A set of trials to test their flames and their own convictions alongside the faith they possess within Ualdir and his Tenets. Will they overcome them or shall the party be consumed in flames?
