You walk into the tavern and feel the gentle mirth inherent of amber bulbs greet you. Wooden floorboards are covered with a cobalt rug and a bartender behind his oak table means to tend to your every need. Don’t look to the right where red leather tucked around more oak presides for the left holds special decorations surrounding a grand piano, a harp, and a microphone.

The air rendered is particularly ripe and an audience is gathered in anticipation of a duet to end all duets; the blood of Ymir shares their ancestral woes with a Selkie whose melodrama enchants all save her. They look up to something greater than any one person and cry out with harmonious synchronization. . and when the powers that be cannot hear them, the onlooking crowd certainly will.
