The leylines of the land. Rivers of magic that thrum with power, thought by many to be the magical circuits of Eternia itself. Some people are able to tap into the power of these to boost their spells or conduct rituals. Some places thrum with magic due to two or more connecting, such as the many dungeons of the land. 

What is the purpose of this expedition? To map out and study a convergence point of several leylines. Where the power of magic thrums in the air, visible to even non magi. The power so overwhelming you can taste it. To those unprepared, the mana itself could burst your circuits. Some will see this as a good way to train. For others it is a way to study the magic of the land itself.

These places are often protected, either by a beast who feeds on the mana. A guardian made from the pure mana that condenses into a construct. A trent who feeds on the mana to survive. Who knows truly what sort of guardian could be in the end.

Rewards: Knowledge is its own reward [Maybe something like a big mana crystal though. Maybe just something big from whatever we have to fight]

Tone: I want this to be more lore heavy and dealing with magic itself. Having to solve puzzles with our magic as we approach these places can also be a big plus. Ties to the nature of magic, or at least what Eternia has for its mana circuit.
