A land of honor and swordsmanship. Of great samurai known across Sheng for their prowess. Honor that shines bright across the land.

But just as with any light, there are shadows. There stands an urban legend that is whispered from parent to child. Friend to friend. Hushed, fearful mutterings in the dark.

Speaking of one of the worst criminals to ever walk their lands. Hundreds—no, over a thousand, they say, were murdered. A specter that moved in the night, a vicious monster that brought retribution to corrupt officials, and innocent bystanders equally. Several villages burned. The screams of widows and orphaned children pierced the night for years following this phantom's dreaded appearance. And, they would disappear without a trace.

Some say it was exorcised. Others say it was cast off. Most still believe it haunts the snowy mountains of Izhura. Waiting for the next unfortunate soul to wander near it.
