Other enclaves and faiths exist outside of Meranthe to lady death. Curiosity striken, a certain radiant has took notice of that. And had gotten into contact with them.
How were they different to him and his own believes in her? Would they get along? Does it matter?
However, the letter arriving back for him had a rather grim outlook. His own view on death and her, acceptance and finding peace was contrasted with the teachings of an enclaves teachings of finding death, actively killing and other things he was not happy about hearing.
His faith was being tested once more. And he starts to gather the faithful to her and to death, before heading on to a new journey. To understand what they are talking about, to see if their path is wrong entirely, to see if he was wrong. And to see if corruption might have something to do with all of this.
