Many legends surround Meranthe, but there are tall tales of the sea that many do not know.
Legendary Captains roamed the open oceans, Horrifying Pirate Lords that could summon a ship with a wave of their sword, and even the ships of spirits that may never stop their duty upon the sea.
How many of them are true?
Enarr, The Navigator, The God of Sea Navigation has been through the sea time and time again. The Patron of Sailors and Pirates flow the Enarr Colors to signal their respect upon the ocean deep. These stories have been passed down from generation to generation of sailors, it was high time that a family took these legends into their own hands. Out of their loss, and sorrow do they find themselves upon the sea. To brace the Unknown.
To one day become Saints of the Sea.
Captain Seaton 'Fearless' Ulrik
Legends say that Captain Ulrik was a divine child of Enarr, or in other stories, he was a Nephilim of Navigation. With the seas to guide his every whim, the treasures he got were like no other, as much gold as any man or woman could want—a feared pirate hunter to keep the shores of Meranthe free of its tyranny. There was a lighthouse upon one of his many voyages across the sea.
One he could never find.
Its guiding light was what helped him cross the murky waters, the fog that could never be cut through. This line that showed him the way was the last report that the Godblooded Captain would ever be recorded.
Some say he's still alive despite being born during the First Age.
Some say he was never real.
Yet that light returns upon the seas of Meranthe, guiding a new generation.
