The King-Scholar's Plight

The Mementos scour about. Several have began to pick their weapons, and form elaborate gaps in their schedule to fit such an occasion in. The cold winds of disaster settle, and a hailstorm begins to brew. Scouts have been rumored to be seen on the verges of Meranthe, supposedly making a target of the Enarr Temple within the borders of its region. A supposed haven, for Kings to visit in their time of worry, for sailors to recieve guidance upon their sails, and for scholars to read upon their books.

It is only natural that a temple so close would claim relics that certainly would not belong to them. For what is Enarr, if not the god of authority over what you believe is yours?

"... so too.. do priests.. wear.. gold.. and.. silk.. for how.. else.. would they show their ties are cut.. that their greed is being quelled..?"
