Character:Akaza Shigenobu

Synopsis:

Akaza's parents were terrible people, his father a corrupt merchant sold his soul to his mother the leader of a crime syndicate who only married him due to his fae-borne ancestry and distant ties to the Shigenobu clan. Raised to be a spy and to never truly love anyone, Akaza would be sent to Meranthe to work for the heiress as a way to influence her if she were to succeed.

But while Akaza was far away, karma finally caught to his parents for the horrible things they did. His mother sold their soul to a sealed fox demon and sacrificed many innocent children to it, but 10 years after Akaza left for Meranthe the demon was finally able to escape its prison and devour all the people that lived next to their prison even those who paid tribute to it.

Now choosing to erase his past to give his total dedication to the heiress and The Shigenobu clan, Akaza travels to his old home with a small group of allies to burn that cursed place that was altered by magic and turned into the demon's lair. There they hope to slay the demon and take all the offerings that were given to it, Akaza also hopes to find pieces of the ancient holy relics that were used to seal the demon to study them.

No one knows where Akaza Shigenobu came from and he always made sure to keep it a secret, a distant relative of the Shigenobu the man came at a young age to Nilhirra and took their name after being accepted by the heiress. A shady figure always obsessed with being liked by people and buying their friendship with gifts, most people would expect him to come from a rich and happy house, but that couldn't be far from the truth.

The samurai was born in the cold mountains of north Jianghu in the continent of Sheng, raised by his father Tomo the samurai's life could only be described as hell with no happiness even if his family was richl. He was a hostage at his own house together with his father and siblings, all because of a mistake that would result in his birth.

Akaza's father was once a rich merchant who lost his business to gambling and loan sharks, a fae-borne but also descendant of the Shigenobus who chose to live at Sheng the man had only a common ancestor with the Shigenobu of Xuefeng. Tomo's grandparents had visited Meranthe to win favor with the Shigenobu clan but with no success, in their greed, they would aim for the west and get fascinated by the Fae-borne marrying only among them in hopes of becoming more like the Shigenobu from Meranthe and win their favor...it took 3 generations but eventually, Tomo a fae-borne was born.

Still, despite that, the man was a useless drunkard that people suspected to have been adopted and would often boast about his relation to the Shigenobu clan while looking for a rich bride also from fae-borne heritage. While his plan worked the man would eventually deeply regret it, his beautiful fae-borne rich bride would turn out to be the sadic leader of a crime syndicate interested only in his lineage and a chance to use him to someday approach the Shigenobu clan.

Asue Udamoto could be described only as a demon, in one year she had recovered all of her husband's money and his business by poisoning or killing the people who had taken it from him. But that wasn't enough for the mysterious woman, her greed only grew with time and while looking for a chance to make more money she would find a sealed fox demon that promised her money and influence at the cost of human children for it to eat.

The rich woman would buy orphans and offer them to the beast that would live in the depths of her mansion, she would go as far as providing some of her children for it to eat unless there were only 4 of them that were raised to hate each other. Akaza Shigenobu the youngest would be raised to be a spy and get other people to like him, like his siblings he would eventually be sacrificed to the beast but fate had other plans.

Asue would eventually hear of the Shigenobu heiress and in her greed look for ways to approach Shiri's forces to win her favor, she wanted the influence that would come with befriending the heiress and sent her youngest son to do it. Using the fact that he was a distant descendant of a Mochizuki who was married off when he was still young, Akaza Shigenobu managed to convince the clan to accept him and join the heiress's forces.

Now in the present days after choosing to betray his mother and fully support the heiress, Akaza would receive a letter from a loyal servant. His siblings have been sacrificed to the demon but this time it ate his parents too, karma has finally caught up to Akaza's family and he must avenge them even if they didn't deserve it.

Decided to erase his past to become a better man and more useful to his new family and clan, Akaza is now gathering allies that he can trust and will go to the Udamoto mansion to slay the demon and its minions. He will burn that cursed place down but anything he can find that could be useful to his clan the man will take, he is hoping not to just find gold there but pieces of the holy relics that were used to seal the demon's evil powers.
