Whether viewed as mere folklore or a sacred tradition, it is a familiar tale; on the cusp of the year's end, Lady Mortyl and her most faithful of emissaries grace Meranthe with their presence, gathering wayward souls who have strayed from their appointed end. Within the halls of the Interitus, this is celebrated not unlike a holiday, in which all labor must cease, and each man, woman and even child fasts from dawn to dusk.

Ahead of this holiday, written invitations adorn the walls of inns, taverns, and even city halls, inviting all to bear witness to this year's final prayer to Lady Death.
