Time.

There's never enough of it. The collective resistance of Meranthe, for all of their attempts, has run out of it. The preparations for the army of the Imperfect begin anew once more, to march again. Four years have passed since the last transgression against Mestra; a grand ritual upon which the guardian of the heavens, the first line of defense, was slain by those that would aid the First Imperfect. 

Now, the finale approaches.

It begins with a hushed word, but soon begins to spread like a plague; the rumors, one that claims that the Demon Lord found a path to the heavens so that he may invade them, and that Varrach has obtained a weapon designed specifically to slay a god after raiding a remote sanctuary, a vault guarded by the most holy warriors and a mighty being. Now he intends to turn that weapon against the heavens themselves, and the first target is no secret either - Mestra. The movement of their army is easily seen- they're marched swiftly, with less than a year remaining until it could be viably intercepted and confronted.

In the coming years, the fate of Meranthe shall be decided.

In a long while, perhaps for the first time in history,

there is someone to carve a path to the gods,

and one of the Pantheon will be directly challenged.

Gods help us all.
