Death and Turmoil have ravaged Meranthe over the last decade.
Leaving in their wake the desiccated remains of many.
Farmers, Soldiers, Civilians, Forgotten souls left to rot and fester beneath the ground
But not you-
You are so much more valuable than the dirt they'd shovel over you
So much more than a pile of bones left to marinate and fertilize the soil
Purpose and Pursuit will be yours once more


You Are Valuable:

An undead raised to do the bidding of your master, though that does not inherently make you a slave.
The one who raised you seeing much more potential than a decrepit servant.

-You will spawn in as a skeleton, but wait!  It won't be forever!

-Your creator sees value in you, and as such will invest fully in your development, making you into the Champion of Undeath that you deserve to be.  Prioritizing your growth over their own, and their ability to create your siblings.

-You will probably be given gear.  You need it to do your job and you DESRVE it and much more.

-You will have the relative freedom to pursue your own ambitions, as your Necromancer is ambitious, he won't stifle your own leaning in that direction.  Your goals are yours to achieve and so long as it doesn't directly conflict with the Necromancer?  You can do as you like.  It's even encouraged!

-Despite your ambitions being your own, you will have the full support of the one who raised you.  Any efforts you make towards developing whatever you like will be fully backed by your patron. You are not alone.  You never will be.

OOC:

You will spawn in at the start of the new year.

You can expect to hit Champion within the first couple weeks if you do nothing, sooner if you farm undeath.  No new undead will be spawned until you become a champion, meaning the undeath is all for your growth and won't be slowed down by outside uses of the undeath you gather.

That being said, if after reaching Zombie you'd rather have a roaming partner, we can make you a sibling before making you a champion.  Death does not have to be lonely.  Nor does it have to interfere with your growth.  The choice will be entirely your own.

Will be heavily involved down the road in some rather ambitious plans.  You are not meant to be a simple skeletal verb monkey and will ultimately be integral in some fun events and story lines.

Due to Diligent effort on the part of your creator, you will have the option to spawn in as a ZOMBIE.  No longer reduced to just bones you now have fetid flesh on your skeletal remains, empowering you through the necromantic energies that bind sinew and corpse flesh to bone!

Alternatively if you have a friend you may spawn in as a DUO a pair of undead on their way to tandem success!
A mere taste of the efforts your Necromancer will put in to see you achieve the undead greatness you deserve.
