On their father's side, they were given endless attention, however firm, with studying becoming a thing of fun; countless hours in the library, searching either for whatever strikes their interest while holding papas hand, poetry, short stories, or committing to proper etiquette tutoring fit for Royalty, guided by him. Stede's joy of writing will be passed down, though they're free to let this pass them by as they age.


He spent many months every year taking them in private voyages. Grilling them (lightly) on how every portion of a ship works, their names and purposes, and most importantly, how to sail and navigate through most any condition; through calm seas to rough storms and darkest night, guided only by the stars.

On their mother's side, came love and care, but also once you were old enough to understand actions had consequences, one that held you to your word, to every little detail. Then came the training, harsh but fair, as lessons were given in the same fashion learned, and, that if they wanted to go out alone, holding their own was a mandatory requirement. 

However, never once did you lack for your basic equipment, as your mother saw to your blades, staves and armor. Even firearms were made, ugly, noisy, but undeniably effective at their job. By the time of your sixteenth birthday, the Queen would finally give you freedom from her overbearing gaze, letting you choose your own way forward.
