The Preparations begin now.. by the time we embark upon this quest it will have been many years since I watched you return to the cycle before my very eyes.. I was going to simply allow it to pass.. but every night now it seems I see it in my dreams.. taunting me. Mocking me for leaving you to die even though I know there was nothing I could have done.. 

It is my hope that you are proud of me.. for finding what happiness I have been able to thus far.. through found family.. the best of friends.. and the most remarkable of teachers.. 
It is they whom I reach out to in your stead.. to help me help you even though it is too late. I will not allow your bones to turn to dust in the wind, I will not allow your death to go unavenged, and I will NOT allow any other child to go through what I have in its wake..

Thus I promise thee, by fire and sword shall we lay its sins bare..
