Rumors spread of preparations for a ritual somewhere in the deep forests of Meranthe.

The exact end goal of the ritual is unknown. Yet certain information has been made public.

First, is that the forefront casters of this ritual are Emmeline M.Emeraldi, and Sophie Durand.

Second, is that the ritual will involve the creation of a temporary Point of Convergence. Thinning out the veil between the physical and spiritual realm. The very act itself is dubious, with concerns for ecosystem and nature.

Despite those concerns, it is clear that the place will be magically and spiritually charged if the ritual does come to pass. And as a result, many spirits will collide into the physical world, spiritmancers themselves might find a place to practice their trade, whether by exorcising the invading spirits, or by making contracts with them, or some other acts.

More and more rumors spread, practically publicizing the coming incident in full... Such of tearing directly into the lifestream were dispelled, but that of intended subjugation of spirits ring true. What would truly come under threat, is an essence of the truest freedom...

An attempt to grasp a spirit of heavy relation to time would be made, by Sophie... Along with another to store it in a 'holding' forevermore, by Emmeline. Such would have its fate be forever manipulated, and set by the manipulator, who would further bind it as their own. It was all a stark contrast to the formerly stated 'predestined' ideals of Emmeline, ones held prior to the incident that concluded the once-intended war against Altharim, and her freedom from the domineering spirit 'Clockwork'. 

This time, she would be the ruler, and not the subject.

It would be a holding made by a tainting of freedom's very concept, a tainting that would have it twist into the opposite concept... Though one that would still utilize what power and insight it could provide as a forced aide of time. Such plans are now revealed by word of mouth, and obvious intent for those who would pass by the grove on the nearby road... Yet thankfully, they still were not enacted. Would those that truly value such an essence, and such a concept of a totally free will for all...

Would they save the one to be claimed?

Even if such entity were only to be spiritual...

Or perhaps, the princess would gain a new 'Subject', on this day.

...For those who didn't care of whatever happenings may occur, such was also a grand opportunity to gleam an insight upon fate, for much that may occur at the Ceaseless Grove would be related.
