Resurgence swells inside Caethir alongside the new regent at the helm. Increased conversation and mercantilism did not happen overnight or hundreds more. It took constant toils from those beneath the banner with detailed planning from its crown. Calling this boon in activity the height of a recovering nation would be presumptive, though it shows positive things to come. Soldiers from other walks of life enlist into the Azure Order in hopes of finding glory, funding, or simply to serve their kingdom.

With the Knight-Commander either steeped in combat or experiments inside the castle-keep and his second-in-charge bedridden from illness, the former begins promotions from within to fill in gaps; House Eclipse sees to its financial sponsoring. Threats roam within those same woods you call home more often following Viritas' demise. Some inflict permanent injuries, some break bones, and frighteningly enough-- plague. Whispers hint at why the military suffered a slight lapse in present leadership amongst your platoon. 

Having only been conscripted since the age of sixteen, this might be your chance to sway the course towards brighter futures for the Order. Several placed themselves before Lord Cifer so they could bid for their own advancement. Whether or not you do the same for selfish or benevolent desires depends on where your goals align with your kingdom. To summarize the remarkable resume presented before him:

An upstart born of Blackthorn stock learned drills from their youth, one which resonated throughout previous generations: 'there is no failure except surrender'; beasts stalking Caethiri territories embrace similar ideologies, and so do those intimately familiar with Wotan's chase. While not bearing any official paraphernalia, and noble bloodlines called into question, it was no surprise that medical expertise came through survival rather than passionate pursuit for one Belisarius.

He joined the Azure Order at a young age, as several do. Diligence towards the Fourth Regency surmounted those who vied for Knight-Commander Cifer to promote them. Peers oftentimes dubbed him cold, calculative, and stalwart. Any recognition from superiors budged his resolve none even with endorsements from those up top. His climb towards higher rankings was not only dictated by combative finesse, though a certain mindset suited for tacticians. Proving himself worthy of that dazzling veneer comes with time, however...

... Out with the old, in with the new.

This mantra resonates within the Azure Order as much as Caethir itself. Not done through purposeful direction, but alongside changing times. The Keep so treasured from previous seasons sinks at Glimmer Lake's bottom, yet construction for another castle dots hillsides high above; rumblings about prestigious champions preparing for their retirements fill ears inside the local tavern, yet new charges are quickly on track for knighting. Pen to paper, another tale begins as movements shift inside fortifications.

Passion for the crown stirs prospective squires into something unlike the first selection-- more fiery, jovial, and involved than occasions filled with diseased quietude from before. Another individual inspired through Ser Belisarius' quick claim to Royal Knighthood brings their qualifications onto Lord Cifer's growing paperwork. What has been written for review:

Months have passed without finding anyone worthwhile for the open position. Once returning from a sabbatical, this fact comes before Caethir's Queen and discussed with King Lucion for another mention, a hopefulness that another batch proves more promising than the last.

Another turnage passed of summery zeal, introspection in autumnal lull, and even momentary glimpses inside spring's optimistic breadth-- yet most prominently, wintertime wrought permafrost. It gripped those affected and lingered more than anticipated, and despite this, another parvenu sourced from Blackthorn regions heeded the call. Not jovial nor fiery as hoped, though about as resolved as his predecessor. Several realized this staggering trend whenever the formerly-renowned House sneaks out from Caethiri lands: they turn out serious, distant, although fiercely dedicated individuals.

This could be applied to whoever was selected from all applicants clamoring for even one opportunity, settling on Cervantes, the one who took up his House's helm. Nobody else dared touch its overwhelming responsibilities, and while reluctant towards allowing someone so fresh lead, it was better to see his potential rather than allow oblivion stake its claim. He somehow preserved many a conspiracy and endured the lengthy silence once entrapping the kingdom. Previously enthused towards tracking down beasts, House Blackthorn evidently started bolstering those more comforted through creationism and militaristic pursuits.

This time flourishes in the cycle, no longer stagnant.

Rejuvenation had been proclaimed with the Queen-Consort's return from an extended absence, and in that, growth bloomed. Traitorous plots came, then left; changes in position were necessitated by vacancies. Flaws obviously exhibited themselves within their courts in that newer faces needed purpose and direction.

After ten arduous years of silence, the once-destroyed Keep overshadows landscapes now while retaining its prior splendor. Crowds begin trickling into roads with wares prepared, and voices held high. No longer whispering or afraid to make their presence known. A new age equates to restoration, cerulean, and pure whites oftentimes showcased with pride.

But this invigoration only came from placing those steeped in their piety where they belong: the newly appointed Crown's Aide Noctua I. Eclipse, Knight-Commander Evelyn Lopus, and Head-Tinkerer Lupin Óir-Gadaí were selected as leadership. Yet one spot remained ominously unfulfilled... Court Sorcerer. The previous one faded off without much word, once leading House Aissenai for some time.

It sits upon sleepy ruination designed through absence. Rather than pitch claims to the military delegation, another must navigate themselves directly before King Lucion and the Queen-Consort Calanthe, the latter of whom is rather unenthused about this prospect. The qualifications listed for their purview are as follows:

✦  A sorcerer (or sorceress) who shoulders immense responsibilities, including completing projects alongside your cohorts and supporting certain endeavors geared less towards neutrality in the coming years.
✦  A minor noble who has been tasked with reviving House Aissenai to its former glory, willing and able to display leadership qualities in repopulating it once more.
✦  An individual understanding that there will come natural skepticism towards their person and position; after Aetius' assault upon Caethir, the Queen barely tolerates you as the King necessitates maintaining the nation's status quo. You will be watched very carefully, as any incorrect choices could spell consequences not spoken, but implied.
✦  Not one expected to participate in combat, though they would be asked to be the Azure Order's pillar through their talents.

It did not take long before one or two individuals out of several exhibited more promise than the rest. The King expressed enthusiasm over these candidates in particular; so much so that the Crown is willing to choose them immediately over others for proper acclimation within their new position.
