Clouds set upon Caethir when celebrations whittled down to nothing more than rabble about researching Glimmer Lake; shadows began wrapping around fortifications composing its keep, forces bolstering Aetian paraphernalia last seen loitering along ramparts. Abnormalities set upon the castle's foundations garnered explanations through this show of sorcery.
Yet when panic began to set in, some citizens seemed soothed. Pacification calmed anxieties as one monarch acted as if these happenings were another springtide day. A woman enticed into movement now dons robing unbefitting royalty but theology. Steps touch stones rather than fluttering for travel. Hunts declared trivial on war's eve predispose rangers when time should be spent preparing.

Crimson tinged footfalls despite its nigh bloodless corpse, which soon rested before the fortress's doors.
