Ruins of Viritas - Ferryman's arrival
#1
Within the ruins of Viritas, many souls of the past roam.
x
Lost, confused, scared.
x
Scarring of war is left behind, with rubble and lives forgotten.
Despite the dark dealings, this is a place that people once lived too.
x
And many of those who died, still struggle to find their way forward.

"Take my hand, let me guide you."
x
Boats arrive at the shores of Viritas, preparing for a ritual to be preformed.
Candles spread out amongst the debris, now surely consumed by nature.
x
"It has been far too long."
x
Word begins to spread of this ritual, one that claims to guide those of the past to Mortyl's Embrace.
All are welcome to come pay their respects, and relish in the memories they hold onto of Viritas, good or bad.
"Death is not to be seen as the end, as I will guide all those who died to a new beginning, those that got lost along the way."
x
Quote:A guiding ritual in Viritas.
This will be related to Mortyl.

Once upon a time the church stood within Viritas: Its prayer hall filled by prayer to an Angel. Now what rests is ashen stone, burnt with fierce wrath of the entirety of Meranthe.
It is a shame.
. . .
A certain Kitsune one awfully similar to the Curator of Souls wanders around the ritual place: Once their own home, church located within, the caravans are seen: Some scared off the path to send off a message. In their echoes a threat concealed in suggestion has been carried by the word of mouth. It's clarity suggest careful preparation to their 'victims'.

Intent:
Cease the ritual.

Mortyl

Your patience, has been rewarded.

Through a spectacle of art and death, two come together joined as one.
A misunderstanding cleared within the ruins of Viritas, and not a single drop of blood.
Now to pay homeage to both deities, as one beckons for the souls of unrest, and another shows them its beauty.

It is known that Viritas was the city of Mydaea, as the streets of art was vibrant despite the darkness within its walls.
But those of death are not bound by the acts of life, as we find we are all equal within those quiet moments inbetween.
So while guiding those that gave their love to Mydaea to the path forward, both have decided to do so in unity.

Even if they have decided to be involved, and not to interrupt.
It is unknown if any others out there may feel different about it.
