Long has the noble House Caewynn been of high regard within the prestigious, long-lived Realm of Delphina. Its pedigree solidified once the wise Lumin King took the throne, ushering in a notable period of regard, poise not quite gleaned. The realm blossoms during the spring warm months, bustles in the summer and enters restful, reflective sessions come the colder months. Throughout this prosperity and testament rose a particular guard once they next in line stood in the shadow of the crown’s glory.

Calls began in the countryside. Elzara Leafblades scouted the far corners looking for promising youth and adults alike in the most remote villages then robust small towns within Delphina’s realm. Faeborne from all walks heard the call for the establishment of something a bit prestigious– different from normal recruitment efforts, the Leafblades efforts here were in search of Faeborne loyal to the crown and loyal to Nemea to establish:

Regardless of where these chosen Faeborne hail, life in service began in the realm’s capital city: Dal’Thala. Trained personally by House Alinteau’s finest, rigorous structure guided the Royal Guard’s recruits day-to-day. In service to the realm, but in service primarily to the Faeborne royals: the Lumin King Camino de Caewynn and his heir Sunsets over Moonlight. As a result, expectations for those in such training are higher than normal Elzara recruits. The process was tough, but the most exceptional Faeborne emerged from the five year long training. Elegant, talented, skilled- hunters like no other and exemplary Faeborne.

Only three passed and you are one of them.



Emerging from the training is the following member of the Royal Guard:

☼ Loyal to Delphina, especially its royals
☼ Spawn at RPL 180
☼ Begin with a unique Nemean flavored, soulbound weapon
☼ Are a member of the Elzara; a skilled combatant

Ancient, eternal, having stood for over six hundred years, the Realm of Delphina endures. A marker of decades and decades of history scribed into the very earth it settles on-- from the bygone era of 124, redemption, preservation, restoration, prosperity and innovation. Led beneath the luminous banner of Lumin King Camino de Caewynn for over a century, few places carry eternal wisdom at its helm. While unmoving, the Realm of Delphina's focus lies inward, forging means in which life and land and nature are preserved. Magic booms, arts created from nothing still painted to this day, its strokes eager to pass from Faeborne to Faeborne. Historically, the Royal Guard's identity acted as representation for the upmost, excelled Faeborne all the land had ever produced. Markers of immense class, humility, prowess honed into the crown's immediate protection. Beyond the work of a Leafblade employed under the Elzara's banners, the Royal Guard heeds its focus to the crown entirely. Defense's need dwindles as the Realm's focus shifts gradually over the years...
 
Sin eradicated, mirrors peered, false fables shattered, truth revealed, occultism purged, death's touch lessened, death laughed at, music's very chord plucked, home ventured. Housing powerful magics in need of conserving for decades and decades to come. Moments to cement arts to preserve. The decade has defined itself with conservation of history, art, traditions. Issuers of it, plucked from across the Realm-- from the far reaches of Sanessa, to Arcadia and surrounding, smaller countryside villages. Background no matter, the burning passion of upholding Faeborne ways beats strong. On no path of conquest, the Realm's interest never in intentional expansion. Lands touched touched if only to uphold its sanctity all else failed to keep... from more quiet keeps, the mind and curator of the Royal Guard, Heir and Luminary Sunsets over Moonlight, sees it somewhat fitting to reissue that hunt from all those stretches of the Realm, searching for the group to wring through their rigorous training regime to ensure they are well-suited to call themself a member of the Royal Guard. A few survived its initial rounds, the five year long training period coming to a close. During the fourth and final year, specially fitted weaponry taking inspiration from the works of the late Prince Vanitas Caewynn guides them to the finish line. Nemea grant them strength, endurance, grace, for what is to come.  Following in the footsteps of the Guard's predecessors Captain Nylion Alabaster, Prince Vanitas Caewynn, Cielia Meanderwing and Anteias, armed with greater knowledge of their triumphs and stumbles, such a generation primed for shining brightly. Long live the Lumin King. 

 
Emerging from the starts of training is:
 
☼ In the last TWO years of your FIVE year training regime
☼ Well-educated in their own way
☼ A minimum of 18 years old

☼ Beginning with a unique soul-bound weapon issued after successful initial years

The final two years of training consists of the following (this is not actually that scary I promise):
 
Year 4
Adept mastery of recollecting and discussing the Realm of Delphina's extensive history since its establishment in 1565. Clear direction of magical endeavors to begin pursuing after settling on a Duty to guard. 'Duties' act as guides to aid in one's training and future pursuits. All trainees will be introduced to each, but by the end of the year's training, one will have been chosen and hunted. The Duties are as followed:
 
Duty to Illusions (ranging from studying principles of complex mirror walking and mastering one's aurora)
Duty to Forests (consisting of studying powerful magics that aid in the conservation of vast wafts of land and in-depth study of runeoaks)
Duty to Art (mastering tone, rhythm, cadence, color and complex theory. Plucking strings and laying strokes of expression only one's aurora might flash)
Duty to Hunt (total control over the burn of one's fire and where to direct it. Through intense, rigorous, tolling training, body and self's truest expression)
 
Year 5
Proposal and execution of a final project of the Heir Luminary's approval spanning the entirety of the year. Graduation consists of its presentation, however such a form takes, before a small audience, leaving the trainee open to feedback. The last year is incredibly open, a test of intuitive thinking, problem solving, and overall presentation and execution of unique ideas. Collaboration is not discouraged, but individual led projects have the potential to blossom into something groundbreaking for the Realm as a whole.
