Sanctuary's Samhain
#1

Though small and fairly unassuming, the settlement town of Sanctuary still yet bustles with activity among the Shadowlands. Researchers, scholars, artisans are hard at their labors - still there are murmurs of cleansings, of holding at bay the pernicious and more hostile elements of the environment so that the citizens of this place of refuge and learning might better flourish. Life goes on as pockets of the world descend into turmoil.

But not all must be labor and toil. Among the rumblings of rites to come and work yet to be completed, there is talk of a reprieve. A festival, at the turning of Spring to Autumn.

An invitation comes to feast, to drink, and to bring honor: not to those that rule from thrones or the lofty divine, but those that came before to make the way. What better time, as the veil between this world and the next grows thin with passing seasons?

Preparations continue as schedule. A small meeting, words to be shared on behalf of those who have come before. Those who wish to attend are encouraged to bring to the fore a tale of their ancestors - and, if they wish, a token of some kind for a burn offering in their honor.

The Sage of Liberation offers her services in creating of these tokens in advance of the ceremony, should one not be able to find or have made their own...

[The Rite Continues - 4 PM CST, 5 EST]
[If you wish a token made for a burn offering, seek Felice Argus (915, 362)]
[Please provide a sprite and description for the token]
