Rules for Into The Badlands

As a homage to Fight Night, The Bitter Root Gang will be sponsoring a special event that will take place within the Silent Expanse, though if interest is shown, it shall be expanded upon to certain places around the continent.

This event, known as Into The Badlands, is a Top Dog style event where every participant will receive a starting bounty of 500 Coin. During this event, it will be possible for you to increase your bounty by fighting other participants with bounties. Win or lose, your will increase, but it will increase more on a win, and even more if you capture them and bring them to The Bitter Brew Saloon.

There will also be special bounties as well as varying degrees of increases on wins should you best individuals of a certain experience threshold.

With all that said, by the end of this event, the person with the highest bounty will be paid their bounty amount as well as a 100,000 coin. Second place will receive 50,000 and third place will receive 4 Arcanium.

The winner will also have the honor of becoming one of the Special Bounties for when this even is hosted next time.

Below is the conversion table for the event:

Newer Magi (Below 200 RPL) are worth 100 coin

Magi (200 - 209) are worth 500 coin

Experienced Magi (210+) are worth 1500 coin

For those magi that are of high renown (One Sig), they are worth 5000 coin

For magi that are of incredible renown (Two Sigs), they are worth 10000 coin

Battle Types:
Restrained Battles: 10 Coin
Aggressive Battles: 25 Coin
Danger Battles: 100 Coin
Deadly Battles: 0 Coin, we don't want anyone to be potentially ruined from this event, but if you do it? You do it!
Successful Captures: 100 Coin
Wins: Full amount of battle type
Losses: Half amount of battle type

Please note that any capture you have can be stolen should another participant attacks you for them. If you get captured in the process...well good luck! Anyone acting to save the captive that is not participating in the event, can do so but regardless, the captive remains captured as this is an illegal challenge.

Also, all fights(for this event) MUST OCCUR somewhere within the Silent Expanse(The desert) and it must be out in the open, not inside a building or a cave.

Joshua 'Bitter Root' Crowley: 25,000
'Calamity' Cleo: 35,000
Junji 'Tidecaller' Evertide: 35,000

Erzebet 'The Hungry One': 25,000

Side Note: Special bounties are not allowed to participate in the event as they are official targets! However, they can fight to get a captive released if they so choose, but can only do it ONCE.

Event Entry for participants is 500 coin.

A Lingering Howl rumbles across the Expanse as a new Special Bounty Appears...

After a sudden illness striking The Evangelist, INTO THE BADLANDS IS SET TO START UP AGAIN SOON!!

With the extra time, word would spread about two new special bounties, creatures that had been recently taken up to make for an even more amazing event!

 "While on Vacation, Hecate managed to meet a rather boisterous rock creature that claimed to be the strongest of the strong, the one true MOUNTAIN. So, she told him about this event, and he was all too eager to join!"

"Cleo has a pet that...refuses to remain a pet. Its wild. Its rambunctious. It wants to eat things. It ate some people--may they rest in peace. WHY WERE WE CONVINCED TO PUT THIS THING IN A CRATE AGAIN??"

WITH THIS ALL SET IN MOTION, THE EVENT IS SET TO KICK OFF AGAIN THIS DECEMBER 5TH AT 6PM EST and end DECEMBER 7TH at 9PM EST!

Along a few of the notice boards for this hunt, a tiny gremlin would be seen placing up a wanted poster.  A quick glance at the posters would reveal a significant and obvious problem with their posting.

As the morning sun comes to burn the sands once more, the Bitter Root send out many-a-man to let all participants know that the first part of the event is over! Despite the party crashing due to one of the newly infamous void dogs, the various bouts between combatants as well as the massive brawl between five brave souls and one baby kaiju was highly entertaining!

So far the numbers for the bounties we have look like this:

These are what the numbers look like after day one! If there are any problems please find any member of the Bitter Root to see about getting it rectified!!

So far things are looking exciting, but REMEMBER!! To REALLY cash in the higher bounties or special bounties, you need to capture them and bring them to the Bitter Brew or any Bitter Root Member to confirm it! There still is one day to catch up so it's anyone game, so far this is already proving exciting!!

The final day of the event is set to kick off December 6th, 6pm EST!!
