No one saw it coming except the clergy and the mercenaries, the Chairman disappeared from the island but not before making an announcement. A civil war was announced, and fewer and fewer mercenaries were seen in the island until they all disappeared.

At least until 8 warships with red sails surrounded Antefinem during a cold night, cannons all pointed to the island but no moves made. Sailors wearing the uniform that was made for the mercenaries that joined the island, war was declared and minutes later sound magi would use their voice to deliver the Chairman's message as dawn came.

"An attempt at coexistance was made, but it failed due to you conspiring with them. Let's see if they will reveal themselves and help you creature, The Last Table has decided that those freaks and you are not welcome here anymore. Leave or die." All the sound magi repeat together as the cannons were pointed to the island, no one knew when the war would start but soon the island would be invaded and if they were to suceed all of Terminus's thralls killed.

With the announcement made, projectiles are shoot from the ship by their water magi? No, blood magi!  Was it an attack already? No, it was a message and as it started to rain blood on the island until the projectiles finally stopped they would realize what it was the message.

"Let it rain blood." --Unknow.

TARGET: Antefinem

OBJECTIVE: Take control of the island and expel Terminus and any of his allies including the non-magi.

First one of the ships departs towards Fortune, a few days later most of the fleet departs somewhere else. Only three ships remain now with Fortune's own blockade on the island, three ships working with Fortune's navy as a show of goodwill.
It's uncertain what happened but the Last Table sets its sights somewhere else, and weirdly enough they seemed satisfied with something. Is it really the end of it? What did it take to make them move that easily?

Status: Raid canceled for now.  Diplomacy is a thing?

The Kingdom of Fortune, overlord of Antefinem, took
to the waters surrounding their vassal in swift order; a forward fleet
stood at the ready in wake of looming threats delivered a year prior.

No exchange of cannon fire came with their arrival, as those initial
vessels moved to mirror The Last Table's loose encirclement of the
island, positioned with sufficient distance to discourage an imminent
ignition of the intensely volatile situation.

Amidst this, a statement is soon released by the Kingdom-

Along with a peaceful departure of the bulk of those besieging warships, for which a few now patrol the surroundings of this isle in tandem with Fortune's navy.

"Following negotiations held between the Crown and The Last Table, the pending conflict has been amicably resolved.
The Last Table has agreed to withdraw from Antefinem's waters and the island itself, to pursue the future of their company elsewhere in days to come.
No blood, but for that having been summoned by their mages, is to be spilled."

Calm once more returns to this deeply reclusive nation,
though not without a greater military presence remaining in close proximity to the isle, in light of recent events.
