Despite the Duke's interest into expanding and rebuilding the nation of Mavethkar there have been rumors that the island is haunted stopping many from settling in the young nation, some say that's because of the gate that leads to many realms. Others say that it's the spirits of those who died during Indras's invasion of Meranthe.

But few know the truth, for years the lands around the gate were neglected and corrupted by Indras's influence making it hard to settle. Eventually the land would probably heal but that would take a lot of time, fearing that the corruption could allow something evil to be attracted to the gate and make the duty of the gatekeeper harder the Duke decided to invite Radiants, sorcerers, druids and anyone interested to start purifying the lands.

Obviously their guards will be watching and guarding the gate, but this would probably prove a great chance for those who are curious about the area or who want to further their studies be it about history or religion. People curious about spiritmancy, faith or rituals are also welcome.

The first purification of the lands around New Mavethkar will be held at the first day of the new year. [January 18th @6pm EST] [Sunday]

As the year ends people start moving to New Mavethkar and prepare for the cleansing of the lands, more information is shared by the guards as people approach. This purification will only cleanse the land from any remaining influence from the battle against Indras and his demons, it will not touch Mortyl's influence.


Anyone that it's not an enemy of New Mavethkar and promises to respect their laws is welcome, ravens are sent all across Meranthe.
