The ground upon New Mavethkar was shaken during an experiment lead by Baylor Equisol, Head of Research. It was an experiment in which everything went horribly wrong. Instead of creating new life, a monstrosity was defeated by many, but the damage to the island is still yet to be dealt with fully. There was a hole created in the land, one of which, the Duke has decided may be of use to him after all...

A missive has gone out to all of Meranthe, in search for capable earth magi to come and gather.

In a request of aid to help build the city proper.
