After a long period of silence and disputes among the people of Atheleon in Gloomlight Grove and the Twilight City within Unreality,
News and rumors came forth, heralded by those of the Anwar faction that had risen in recent years following Skinwalker's proclamation of becoming the Oracle.

Such that follows:

• Following his father's absence from Meranthe's politics, Percival Anwar takes control of the nation's diplomacy and warfare. Galahad Anwar, the Silver Ram, has taken the position of Lord Advisor, previously held by Alaric Bargiel. He is now referred to as the right-Hand man of the Oracle.
   
  
• Cassius Bargiel, the temporary commander of the Bastion and captain of the Astra, has abused his rank to further personal agendas. He has been discharged from military service and is to be arrested alongside his unruly partner, the former knight Bites.
   
  
• Chelsea and Kilian Velgrist have been promoted to captains of the Bastion following these developments.
   
  
• After hearing about Myridia's impending attack on the Death Isle of the New Mavethkar and an apparent disagreement over a deal, the State of Atheleon announced its intention to defend its vassal island. Ships and soldiers from the Inquisition and the Bastion have been seen crossing the strait to and from the island. Negotiations are underway to determine the fate of the island.
   
  
• A peace treaty has been established between the Holy State and the Delphinan Realm within the latter's vassal state, the Duchy of Arcadia. This resulted in a 25-year truce beginning this year. The new State denounces the Bastion's actions regarding the Delphinan Ritual on Mount Pavonis.

Such news soon spread throughout the devoted realm and beyond its borders. Those capable of carrying out the will of Atheleos and the justice of Aethelwine prepared for another chapter in the nation's long history. They were no longer the children they were when they fought against the Lumin King at the entrance to the cities of Nemea's Delphinan Realm. 

 

In light of these developing circumstances, one can't help but wonder what the future holds for the nation.

Less than a year, and you've completely ruined Atheleon. That has to be a new record for Meranthe history!

I had my suspicions you'd be a funny leader when you claimed, with me in the room, that you wished for my grandmother to be beheaded. Then I thought you were really funny when you let yourself be convinced by your Arcadian milkcow to make peace with Dal'Thala. Then came the situation with New Mavethkar, that useless place nobody cares about and I wondered how you'd deal with it-  starting a war because a woman rejected to marry in your family? Now that was both very funny, and pathetic!

But your funniest joke, really, was to destitute our beloved commander Cassius and order for his arrest. Now, that, I think was your best joke. I think it's not necessary to explain how Cassius is ten times the man you are, everyone knows it, you do too. Is that why you've decided to chase him away? You couldn't stand everyone looked up to him, instead of you, yeah? Anyway...
It seems you've forgotten that very common saying.

The Bargiel have pulled their weight in battle for years when you, in your family, were just kissing the dirt before the forces of Dal'Thala. What kind of leader decides to get rid of his best soldiers, hm? I'll tell you, not the smart one, so here's my official announcement :

I, Acheron Bargiel, refuse to acknowledge Percival Anwar as leader of Atheleon.

With the ascension of Percival Anwar to the role of Oracle, and the successful defence of the Mavethkar. Followed by changes within the internal command, and even within Unreality in these recent times. A meeting concerning the church, the military and the government is to soon come about.

 
As such, in the interest of better governance and clarity, a call has been issued for all subjects of Atheleon to determine the status of its island vassals. Representatives from both the Isles of New Mavethkar and Pyrithian are summoned to answer to their protector state.

 

Such is behest by that of the Oracle's Hand and that of the Head of Civil Matters.
