DJ the cat is bidding farewell to the sanctuary and to Meranthe due to the impossibility of travelling safely across the continent to carry out his research. His goal now is to reunite with his blood relatives, who are still held captive across the sea. Twe’s telescope has already been packed for the journey; it will remain with Nera in Nightview, alongside the findings. But first, we must tell one last story: how Kakao saved Eternia!

A cosmic anomaly was observed a few years ago by the Sanctuary Observatory of Hidden Essence and Holy. With the aid of advanced wayfinding and extensive study, a team from Sanctuary and Kindlehelm went into space to investigate what was happening.

The following notes are a field report. Names have been withheld due to political instability.

A star-devouring serpent was defeated, giving way to a portal.

This portal likely led to the palace of some entity, which guarded with its life and holy magic a kind of demon that would eventually be unleashed to destroy Eternia. Although few in number, the entire standby team stepped up to face the challenge.

We had about five minutes to defeat the entity in an oxygen-free environment with absurd gravity. I, Kakao, was struck by Death Magic whilst protecting my friend. It was all worth it, as we managed to eradicate the evil.

This scientific report therefore serves to leave my mark on Eternia.
