It did not take what we are, nor the lives that we lived. It does not erase the battles we have fought, or the choices we have made. It has not extinguished our names, those that have died, or the fire that burns within us all.

We do not need that ichor to prove that we are Jotun.

We were Jotun before the blessing. We stood against timeless wars, the blatant hatred against our kin, and yet, we are still here. And I stand among you.

It is our will that made us. Not the ichor that once ran through our veins.

So I ask of all of you. To choose. To stand with me. Walk side by side. Carry the weight that is heavier than before.

We have a chance. A new dawn. Not to go back, not to run away and pray for a changet. But to move forward. To usher in a new age. To build something new. Something better. Written by us, not by the old gods.

Follow me. Not because I am the First. But follow me because I know that we are stronger than what was taken.

We will reclaim what was lost to our kin. Not through curses that the third son invoked on us by breaking the oath, but through our own hands. Our own will.

One step at a time. It begins now.

VINASKA'S TEMPLE

In the center of the ruins of Enos, the sound of iron striking steel, children's laughter, and prayers of faith fill the northern air.

Across the encampment, Vinaska's name is shared like a prayer being relearned.

What has been accomplished:

• Foundation Laid: Outer walls stand high to the east, the western shrine's foundation is now complete!
  
• Vinaska's Statue: Carved by a former Jotunn stonemason named Hulda, the goddess's image now rises in the center of the shrine's courtyard, nearly finished but remains to be the main attraction in the basin.
  
• Encampment: Thousands have gathered! Former Jotunn, those of Caethir and the Ruby Empire, Vinaska's faithful, outcasts from dozens of kingdoms throughout Meranthe, nomads, and more unite under a common goal! A communal kitchen, wooden barracks, and a forge operates throughout the night and day.
  
• Morale: Children's laughter fills the air as they run between worksites. The mood is hopeful, focused on building the future!

  What remains?
  
  
• Steady hands, lumber, stone and labor are needed to finish the central great hall, outer wall fortification, and temple's pillars as they are halfway complete. 
  
• The statue awaits its final touches, and the shrine's inner sanctum is still a blueprint.

Those throughout Meranthe who wish to contribute towards Vinaska's Temple, tools, supplies, or their presence, are welcome. The north is a long journey, but at the heart is a shared dream.
