(Letters are passed all around Meranthe calling for people to join arms to battle Camazura in the streets.)
Do you know why I go by the name Bark?
It's not because I like being told to.
It's not because my parents hate me..
And it's not because I got that dog in me either.
The name Bark is a reminder of the first time I fought for myself. Back then, I used to let the other kids do whatever they wanted to me without a fight. But then one day, enough was enough, and I SNAPPED, beating up every kid that used to call me that one after another. I go by that name now to ensure I never let anyone walk all over me like that ever again.
And today, I burn with that same passion to take down a new bully by the name of Camazura. The enemies are strong though. They run in both strength and numbers while we wait at home for someone else to step forward... Well, I am that someone else. I fought them before, and I'll fight them again and again. But I can't do this alone, I need you to fight alongside me.
If we stay at home and never leave town, they'll continue to roam the wilderness as if they own the place and not in the fear they once had. We have allowed Camazura to grow too strong a presence. And while you may be safe at home, how long do you think that'll last? The bolder they get the more likely they are to enter the outskirts of your towns and break into your homes. Those traveling between towns already know how many dangers await them outside of the city bounds.
And while some conflict is good for growth and change, this is far too much to the point that it is poisoning us. There are far too few ready and eager to face the threat head on, and as such it only continues to grow stronger... Are we that afraid of death? So scared that we allow them to get away with murder simply because they aren't killing us?.. What happens then when they do turn their attention to you? Or to your loved ones? Are we so short sighted that we don't realize we've placed ourselves in cages where we wait patiently for our own slaughter instead of living? Have we forgotten what it means to really live? If so, let these words serve as a reminder.
Our lives are defined not by its beginning nor its end but by what we do.
I will not simply watch Camazura do as they please, and you shouldn't either. People of Meranthe, it's time to get active. It's time to snap and show them that enough is enough!!
Show them the end isn't nigh. It's never coming.
