I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Crystals spreading around the lakes to the southwest of Meranthe had become increasingly prominent, and several nearby farmlands had begun to grow worried.
Some reported that their livestock had been disappearing.
Others claimed that their crops had grown overnight, healthier and more abundant than ever before.
Others claimed to have found both their young and their elders wandering toward the southwest in the middle of the night.
No one had disappeared.
Not yet.
When questioned, they never seemed to have a proper answer.
Only that they could hear something.
A hum.
Or that they had seen something.
A light.
What could it mean?
The magi of the region had yet to provide an answer.
