As per the title implies.

Give a little green outline and purple outline accordingly to those actively using riftstep / waystep.

when only 1-2 people had the ability, it wasn't that huge.

but now there are roughly 6~ people in game with the ability to use it in combat, and naturally people got super triggered by it (which is understandable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i am one of the people who have it but it wouldn't hurt.

note: this thread is not to sit here and discuss a rebalancing of the skill / or taking it away period.

just give it a visual.

Use the icon that was used whenever you'd warp using spatial swordsmanship. I would put the gif in here but the puush Chance sent me when Wayfinding icons were getting in soon™ has then expired.
