Character: Snacks
Which Event: Origins

Rob isn't the type to be asked to run an event. He will come to you. And when he comes to you, the event he runs is glorious and compelling and makes you cry and feel bad for those you dragged along with you.

This isn't the normal event rating or whatever the fuck we're calling it. It's where we celebrate the funny shit that happened during the event while celebrating Rob's ability to wing an entire 10 hour event that started at 10am EST and ended at 8pm EST. Holy shit balls, y'all.

Anyway the event, for being winged entirely, was amazing and it drew on a lot of things. I gave Rob Snacks' backstory from the role app and he ran with it and performed a Hail Mary. He even included the Synthetic I brought in with me, who wasn't made by the Institute (sorry Uralai....) There's a lot to this event and I won't be able to cover it.

But this was amazing and more than I could have hoped for for a silly origin event for my silly mimic.

Thank you.

Character: Nadir Eisande
Which Event: Snacking in the Desert

Responsiveness: 10/10 honestly incredibly responsive. we didn't go like 10 minutes without a response (unless i held everyone up with my wpm)
Balance: 9/10 I've never seen an Ascended Sirenian drown before.
Storytelling: Absolutely the pinnacle of this event. Extremely pointed, absolutely engaging, and despite starting early and somehow STILL taking ten hours to complete for what was a 'straightforward event', everything felt as though it had extremely rich lore. It was interactive, forever considering our characters standings and our relevancy to what we were doing and had done up until that point. Kept us on our toes too!
Fairness: When three himbos and a blob try to do a puzzle things can only go so far.... Extremely fair, however. We had our knees broken, but were also able to break knees. Very attentive of details within posts and considered everyone's different strengths and weaknesses evenly. It rocked.

Additional notes: Kalione ended up looking like a dog who got stung by bees.

Event: The Un-Vale-Ing (im posting late)

My second private event, and it was a tonne of fun. Every step of the way felt like being caught up in the Weaver's schemes, where our characters were presented with traps which preyed on our characters' better natures - as befits Savarra. We fell face-first into each of them, because we are very nice.

An immersive map to move through, quick responses with seemingly every situation prepared for, and lots of room for our characters to demonstrate who they are.
IRL interruption for a party member meant it needed to be spread across 2 days - though, given our party spread was a mix of American/Euro/Australian timezones, it might've been good to make it 2 days from the outset. A poor dryad would have been awake till 8AM+ if we'd done it all in one day, I think.

It was very funny to be the sole Aerodyne of the party, going through a corrupted segment of the Vale. We did not consider beforehand if that might, innately, pose a bit of danger. A cute ragdolling experience, that he somehow walked out in one (slightly different) piece, which created some lasting leads for my character to follow.

Event: RETRIEVING NOX CORONACHT (Or something like this)
Responsiveness: great evil fucked up crystal opportunities
Balance: great rng
Storytelling: great spritework dedicated to the event that upheld its focus. honestly he did reach out when the atmosphere was odd and picked up wonderfully when we had time to sort and mull over the event date for part two.

Character: Nicolas Kess
Which Event: We're stealing Varrach

Responsiveness: 10/10 Communicative in regards to scheduling, and also during the event itself, allowing people to do off the cuff things to impact stuff.
Balance: 10/10 Murielazelle Eisande is the strongest final boss in Meranthe.
Storytelling: The event had to be split up across 2 days (Sunday and then Friday due to scheduling) - but even still, there were nuggets and hint and I even lightly got emotional during the 2nd event due to IC. And knowing Rob, he may or may not follow up with stuff.
Fairness: RNG from bad rolls potentially killed us many many many times. RNG from bad rolls may STILL kill us, who knows?

Overall: A+

Any other comments: i bombed Varrach's mom and lived to tell the tale. (for now)

Thank you Rob for genuinely taking this event for me. I really appreciate it, as always!!!  Heart Heart Heart

Character: Aricles Alline
Which Event: Helheim's Five

A wonderful trip To Hell, whereupon we lit crack incense in a confined space, bombed Varrach's mom, swore at Varrach's mom, pleaded with Varrach's mom, and ultimately, nearly killed eachother because of Varrach's mom, among other things.

Our actions drastically changed the course of what occurred, and I felt like any wrong move could spell doom at any point. That the risk (and following bloodshed) came to center around the party members' danger to eachother as much as the actual Prison In Hell they sent themselves into was a surprise, and I loved it & the mexican standoff which continued after the event itself.
We got off extremely lucky, it feels, so much so that I have a looming sensation that something terrible is about to occur. Maybe it's related to the evil halo floating above my head, but I think that looks cool, so we'll consider other possibilities first.
