Either give us a way to /ignore guild announces or regulate the fact that some people have been using them to be snarky, advertise over and over and over, and put out things that aren't actual public announces.

Having the flow of your RP broken by a sudden influx of blinding cyan to tell me that I can buy shoes isn't very cash money.

I can truly understand your anger from my marketing pushing. But this not only for me. But also others who markets are apart ic who i do rp with in that. I rather for those people to not have to worry about their areas not being visited or seen. I announce locations and also who they are. For my own marketing i do it maybe twice a day. But its better me doing it for others than everyone all doing it at once. 

Its annoying that people buy stalls and they just waste away. I hear people complaining about no food in stalls or certain things. Because you know why? People lose motivation when they don't make profit. So i am doing this to make the market more fun for people.

You say its not public. But it certainly is! But yes i will tone down with announcements but i will keep marketing others who seek for their products to be known. Its all IC.

This system is NOT meant to be an advertising channel, it's meant for showing event details and the sort. I will straight up make it admin-selective on which guilds can announce publicly if the channel continues to be misused.

That is fine. That is fine but i do show case events. You know how boring the merchant system. How so many people become crafters but mostly lose interest in their stalls and such other matters. I'm not seeking to bombard people with things. Maybe i did go with it the wrong way. But can't say this wasn't something new or fun for others. For them to have their characters recognized. 

I'm tired of people chars being look over because they are not in the main spotlight. Some people are not good at pvp. Some people just want to be crafters and have their work known. But you know what happens? Their work is overlooked. Then stalls become barren or just a place to leave their items. 

Its the same cycle over and over. Least i'm trying to make a change to things. I'm even doing events. Again if you have a better way for me to come forth about it. Lets talk on discord. I rather people have more fun in merchant work and see themselves recognized. 

I apologize to those people who i interrupted their rp. I was just trying to make things more fun everyone else as well.

You have better in-game methods of advertising, leave leaflets on billboards, or just all over the ground, hire town criers, etc.

Back when I was writing the Steely Post I’d leave it on billboards everywhere I had permission to and drop letters of its contents, and then post the full thing on the forum as well. Generally it seemed to work pretty well.

Bruh you know how many people ignore billboards. Not everyone can go everywhere without being attacked or worrying being robbed. Maybe its good story for some. But not everyone knows how to go on such things. But its fine. I will find a way for people to get their work known without announcements. But least im trying.
