I oath to guard them, even at the cost of my own life if need be and stand before them in battle, and fall before them before I ever allow the grasp of death to reach them.

If I betray my Daimyo, Shogun, or the Shinjitsu clan and or break my oaths, remove my name from memory and history and let my ancestors turn their faces and gaze from me in great shame. Then let my blade be turned upon myself in seppuku, for the dishonor.

I oath, with clear mind but also steadfast commitment state until death takes me, or my lord releases me of it, this oath binds me."
