The formerly abandon isle has begun bustling with life following the repurposing of the church. Individuals of faith gather to learn more of the Pantheon in recent years, with a sermon and notable meeting amidst world leaders taking place.
Following recent events, structural changes have befallen the entire isle, and a political system is established within the growing ranks of Meranthe's largest church. There is visible life returning to a place once forgotten, as the construction of newer buildings and housing may also be noted.

Quote:
"Times of inactivity breed strife. It is the result of inaction that has led to one held dear to much of Meranthe; Kuzen Kallis. With his passing, it is demonstrated that the time to act draws nearer and nearer. As such... The church of the Pantheon has set forth a bounty of 50,000 coins, and further reward to be adressed upon the living capture of K'thul."
- Oathmaker, Keeper.

Key Events:
  • The Guardians of the Lifestream have officially mergered with the church of Pantheon, taken on as an acting military force known as the Paladins.
  • Samuel Kallis, formerly known as Samuel Lightwood, has been named High Paladin of the Pantheon, acting as the leadership role of the military beneath the Keeper, Oathmaker.
  • Several Baptism's have taken place in the recent years, including active acolytes of the Pantheon known as Kyselius and Rebecca Woodes.
  • A recent influx of infrastructure has begun overtaking the Pantheon's time, and bulletins seeking the employment of Artificers and Alchemists of faith are posted abroad across Meranthe.
  • Following the Summit of Meranthe, relations have been established in concrete fashion between the nations of Meranthe and the Pantheon.
  • The worship of Enarr has begun growing wider spread than it ever has within Meranthe. Those looking to learn more, or seek baptism in the name of the Faith of the God-King of Wisdom are encouraged to seek out Katrina Kallis or Oathmaker.
  • Real-Estate is becoming available upon the Pantheon, and those seeking to devote themselves to the improvement of Meranthe in the name of the Ten, are invited to indulge upon what is available.

Quote:"People of Aphros, people of Meranthe, I am honored to stand before you all today I wish upon happier news but life is hardly perfect and fair. Logan Ackers, has stepped down as the Oracle of Athelios in his turn. I, Noctis Equisol have been named the 6th Oracle of Athelios. With great pride I stand where once my father, Solomon Equisol stood before you all. Though I am not my father - There are many things I wish to fix within our home. This includes the nation of Meranthe as a whole. For too long have we all been at one anothers throats. For too long have as focus been turned away from the goals of our cities. War will always be part of life but I urge the new and old leaders of my fellow cities to hear me. To hear what I have to say."

"For it is our duty to give the next generation what we never had. A better world, a better place where we can live and thrive as people all together. We musn't fear the unknown, we should embrace what it brings. Together shall we stand as a people, as a nation. It won't happen in a day, nor a week, months... perhaps it won't truly happen. I do know however I will do all that I can to give my people a better life."

"It will not be easy and I cannot say this will be enjoyable. We will go through hardships as much as we will go through triumphs. I ask you people of Aphros. Stand together as one."

-Noctis Equisol
6th Oracle of Athelios

  • Logan Ackers has retired and appointed Noctis Equisol as the new Oracle of Aphros. The new Oracle encourages and expects the city's administration and government to reach out to him in order to work towards a new future for all.

  • There's rumor of a Bastion Rework headed by Commander Monica Moore and Captain Solis Equisol the Bastion is always looking for people to join its ranks.

  • With the increase of Faes, Aphros has recognized, CR as the Faeking, it is to be encouraged that all Faes seek out CR if they are to join within his work and faith.

  • There are to be Two New Projects within Aphros. Builders are requested to seek out Noctis Equisol to go over the reworking of the City and its upcoming defenses.

  • After the 'Successful' raid upon the Tower headed by Oathmaker and Samuel Kallis of the Pantheon. The Oracle pushes everyone within Aphros to attempt their hand at Climbing the Tower. It is recommended to take a Knight or someone who has climbed the tower before.

  • Embassies have been sent to Vdalion and Dal'Thala for an upcoming meeting between the three Cities. A date is said to be set within the new year.

  • Anyone who wishes to join the Aphros faith is welcome to seek out Hadrian Dominic and Gideon Equisol, however, if they are unable to be found. Speak to Noctis Equisol to set up a meeting with the church.

At one of the North-most points in Meranthe, in the ruins of an old fortress long since ventured by common folk, an infestation begins to brew. Razuka begin crawling out from the cracks in old rubble; orphans, thieves, and all manner of black market dealers begin showing their faces in these newly acquired slums. To those who have lost their homes, even those seeking a new start being unrecognized, The Gutter is open.

Founded with more razuka beliefs at heart, a certain freedom is given while still sticking true to those family values the rats adore so much. The dealing of drugs, illegal materials, as well as magics could be found if spoken to the right folk and including the right price...

The Gutter is led by one, big rat that makes all of the rules, a self-proclaimed queen, despite the despise for nobility. One that apparently seems more down to earth than those more common on the surface. With all that, Vdalion shows its support for the rat woman and her newfound slums.

  • A certain razuka by the name of Fist has taken up the role of Queen
  • Rumors soon spread of the razuka Fist recently being made a High Jarl of Vdalion, now ready to support war efforts
  • More huts have been built after the recent destruction of Menagerie, ready to house those without anywhere to go into the new, budding settlement
  • Talks are being had with neighboring settlements and cities, the main focus being that of Dal'thala after altercations involving the new Queen of the Gutter

Time have truly changed in the last decade, many cities have emerged and some have already fallen.. Still, Final Frontier remains upon the dunes. The advances achieved in the Desert Facility continue, their expansion is constant and the future looks promising.

---

The Vault nears completion, it will soon be finished and accessible to select facility members.

✲ A 'Science Fair' has happened a while ago, rumors said that more shall be organised in the upcoming years. Maybe it will become a common thing in the Facility.

✲ After an excavation into the Volcano of Vdalion, rumors say that the Director and his expeditionary group found great things within its depths - which, of course, may change some things in the future around the Facility.

✲ The Director is currently in the search of suitable people from across Meranthe to form a military squad, from those seeking to join the Proto Institute and also Final Frontier - the reason is still unclear, yet surely is something related to his work.

✲ At the moment the Animunculi 0C is searching for any tome, knowledge and the like - that may be add to a Archive in Final Frontier. He is willing to pay for anything of use, brought to him.

✲ Golemcrafting classes will be happening once the Vault is Completed, but only for members of the Proto Institute - mainly, those who proved to be useful along the last years.

The past has always given the quiet 'village' of Oakvale an air of neutrality and peace. And, until very recently it has always kept such air around it. Never questioned its role. Devoid of any conflict found in the rest of the world, it was a place to retire and live quiet life. Though that hasn't exactly changed, there is certainly more noise rumbling upon the stone streets than there were years before following the burning of a bar belonging to one Dal'Thaian royal.

The original occupancy that founded Oakvale some twenty years ago has all but come and gone, whether retired and soiled off to distant shores of finding themselves in a predicament that leads to them being unable to maintain the settlement. In the recent years, the Ackers family have not only taken additional residency that has fallen vacant to house an expanding family, but have also taken a more commanding role in what happens around the settlement itself.

With the approval of a founding Cassidy Cain and the absence of one Kamilla J. Lyndon, Oakvale has been left to the family and upon the retirement of Logan Ackers it has fallen to the hands of his eldest daughter leaving her in a position of control. Willow Ackers, known to have a temper unbound that has been shown quite recently, expressed her interest in ensuring the settlement isn't brought into the same issues that plague other nations within Meranthe. Civilizations that crawl with creatures in the shadows, the Coven, necromancers and the like. Vocally and publicly making it known this is not the place for them to be.

¥ With the blessing of Oakvale's previous founders, the Ackers family has taken upon the mantle of running Oakvale. Willow Ackers stepping in upon her father's retirement. While there is no position of 'leadership' within the community, the Ackers family has taken it upon themselves to ensure it doesn't drift far from what it should be in their views. They all seem to be in line with recent choices and those going forward.

¥ Any previous deals with Oakvale and other communities or countries fall null as any who made them vanish in the years that pass. Anyone that wishes to move forward with previous deals is urged to seek a member of the Ackers family for communication.

¥ Following the burning of the Caewynn's bar, there is a search for an architect to fill in the remains of where a house once rested. It's said that a certain Willow Ackers is interested in a cat park.

¥ While the Ackers family does look to control things going forward in the coming years, it is still in their interest to return the community to one controlled by landowners. Once those landowners are people they approve of.

"We bring Her Majesty's light into even the darkest place."
  • Three vessels of Her Majesty's expedition have made landfall upon Meranthe, quickly claiming a small island as their own. A serviceable military encampment has taken shape to serve as the initial outpost, with a name already taking root - Lyonesse.
  • The outpost is under the command of one Captain Valerie von Marsh, with Lieutenants Isla Amana and Gerald Lancaster possessing authority in her absence.
  • Visitors are politely encouraged to speak or write to one of the three before coming to Lyonesse, lest they be driven off what is now being treated as sovereign territory of Aen.
  • Cadets are encouraged to speak to Isaac Coswell and Ledah Pouvez for arms, and to Malakim Phoros for alchemical needs.
  • Rumors are whispering through the ranks that an outing of some sort is being organized for the Cadets of Lyonesse, both to serve as training and to fulfil the prime directive of the expedition and harvest the natural resources of Meranthe.

Since the arrival of the abyssal creatures, Meranthe had not been the same. The lands once only taken over by mortal strife, were now seen to be permeated by the beings of helheim - demons who were now often seen roaming and hunting, mostly unsuspecting mortals.

Such beings came from a place that had emerged recently, a terrible lair near the Great Tower.. This location would become known as Abendrot! The city ruled by the witches of the Coven of Misfortune.. That is.. Until the rulership was taken over by the demonic Council - overthrowing the previous owners of the land..

And this only happened for the Time of Change is coming to Meranthe.

The Demonic Council was established, being the new rulers of Abendrot. Its leaders are, Laplace and Fulmen as the Fel Khans, K'thul as the Prophet and finally, Sak'noth as the Demonic Researcher.

The Former Supreme, Drama, as well as her spawn - Misery, were overthrown by the new demonic rulers of the land - after a coup. What happened to them, where they went.. Is still uncertain.

The abolition of the Misfortune cult has been decreed by the Council and its Coven forcibly disbanded. However, rumors indicate that a new Coven will be formed - one lead by the Prophet K'thul. Yet, former members of the Coven of Misfortune are more than welcome to join their new rulers, if they abandon their past lord.

A tournament will soon be held, one in which beings of Abendrot can prove their strength to their new rulers - perhaps even claiming a great title for themselves, as well as receiving the support of the council.

Already at the beginning of his new position, Sak'noth sends imps across all the land.. Which deliver Bounties for specific individuals of Meranthe! Entities sought by the great demon.

The Dark Miasma spreads through the forests of Dal'thala, demonic creatures are most often seen roaming the vicinity and attacking merchant caravans - a storm approaches Nemea's domain.

"Not even a year the helm, and already had to deal with with threat of war.
Well, at least things won't be boring for a while yet huh?"

-Captain Stede Vane.

With Vilhelm Von Mare's departure from Port Fortune, Stede has been promoted to captain of the Southern Seas Company in charge of the island Port Fortune. With it, new decisions and changes have been made:

  • Permission has been granted for citizens and fellow crewmates to fight demon kind as they see fit, deeming them as a danger in Meranthe that has to be kept in check.

  • Given the lack of progress in getting the wayfinding runegates between Dal'tahla and Port Fortune to be stable enough for prolonged civil use? The crew has decided to cut their losses and dismantle the gates for its precious resources to be used for other works when the time comes. Despite this, the relations between Port Fortune and Dal'thala remain friendly.

  • Following a certain incident involving a caught thief from the Queendom of Aen's territory, tensions start to rise when the initial negotiations didn't go well. Fortunately, the fine for the thief's release has been paid, and the threat of war had died down with it. The tensions still remain high in Port Fortune however, with alert eyes watching over the north east for a potential attack all the way up from the lighthouse.
  • The plans to annex Mina Solis are still on their way.  A recruitment phase to the Southern Sea Company is still in place, with the goal of attaining enough manpower to man the ships.

  • A new crew, separate from the Southern Sea Company has set its home in Port Fortune, led by Fritz Fortuna. Their plans and goals are left unknown, as of this time.

  • Captain Stede has shown interest in expanding the landmass of Port Fortune to afford more room for people to live on the island. An offer of payment is up in the air to anyone with an idea and the willingness to carry out such an arduous task.

Many winters pass since the destruction of Menagerie. There is a lack of noise from the mountain lands of Vdalion. Many more winters would pass before announcement still. In its place, rumors circulate among Grimhjall.

With the death of Glufdor, the grudge against Mestra's followers has since ceased. Sights momentarily set insular even with several battles being had and new enemies made. In most cases Vdalion being the antagonizer. Executions take place and tensions rise, leading to the call of a Moot. A relic of the past. It appears this infighting comes from the recent expedition led to lands far north. The slaying of the Tyrant Indrog, son of Felyraxes.

Victory is founded, as is secret prophecy, one to create discourse. The slaying of this tremendous dragon doubled-up as some type of coronation for Jokul Folhammar who sits as Vdalion's leader. Though, it's quite clear his distaste for politics, shirking responsibilities for battle. The other members of the party walk away changed, for better or worse. With some stories circulating of...

"There is hope in this land, but it must be freed from the yoke of evil."

With four years passed since the arrival of the Aenite expedition, Lyonesse has become a bustling colony of the Empire of Aen. Ships venture to and from the isle on a weekly basis, delivering supplies, colonists and soldiers. The troops are hard at work performing their drills, sharpening their swords and readying their vessels. Further, the colony has expanded already, claiming an isle to their southwest and naming it Gran Tiena. Rumors have spread about construction of a tavern, named to honor the first official casualty of the expedition.

Diplomatic relations with the city of Dal'Thala have improved significantly following Abendrot's attempted raid. The forces of Aen showcased their valor well, defeating a number of highly evolved demons and slaying two. Delegates from the colony have been seen meeting with the military commander of Dal'Thala in preparation for the upcoming crusade.

Following the results of Vdalion's most recent moot, a public statement has been made by the Captain of Lyonesse, Valerie von Marsh.
"Idle have I been, watching the once noble Giants debate. I had hoped that sanity would prevail, that they would take the correct course of action without needing interference. Instead? They chose to exile sanity. Their forefathers would weep at what has become of their proud legacy, a legacy Aen knows well. We will not stand by as they tarnish a rich and storied history by defiling the dead. Lyonesse will march, and put to rest these monsters."

[Image: devin-korwin-tumblr-n5irzjv1ve1t5oeymo1-1280.png]

"I call forth a crusade against the filth of this world. Abendrot is broken upon our bulwark, the demonic menace scattered. No longer will they obscure other evils with their miasma.
And to those of you of Vdalion, who still value your legacy? I invite you to join this crusade, as Vdalion once did in the past when the Empire of Barsburg was broken. Or hold your peace, and fall with it."

♆ With the announcement, the soldiers of Lyonesse are preparing for war against the ancient mountain city. They welcome aid against the necromancers.

♆ Following the battle with Abendrot, a mass promotion ceremony was held. All whom were part of the initial expedition have ascended to the rank of Soldier. Their training is over, they have proven themselves.

♆ Amidst the promotions, the Dorian Melio has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant to hold the position alongside Isla Amana. Further, the Nephilim Isolde has taken a more unique role of Morale and Morals officer, the primary goal being to ensure the expedition remains faithful to the tenets of Aen.

♆ Another of the isles has been annexed and renamed to Gran Tiena, those living upon it are now bound by Aenite law. While it is relatively underdeveloped, it is more open to the public. Rumors abound of a tavern being constructed there soon.

♆ Thus far, no statement has been made about the impending attack against Pantheon. Vdalion is considered the primary target of their upcoming crusade.
