Leaving the black and gold tower of Prospera the Archduke took to the streets to make an announcement.

“You’ve been through a lot, and so have I. I realized myself to be too harsh on those I have to love and nurture, this statement goes out to the one person I wronged not because of him, but because of what I thought of him. Diallos Equisol, my nephew, I apologize for treating you so terribly. I do not show it, but I love you as if you were my own. You are a child - and I did nothing but break you down, instead of nurturing you, because of problems that were not your own to take punishment for. I am very sorry, kiddo, do know that you are loved - and appreciated. 

As for Ikonocles, while the Pantheon divides us - and my anger was just, it is justified for a man to be angry over those that try to harm his family, and you did just that by following Enarr blindly. For that, I will not apologize for your banishment, and the stripping of your titles. What I wanted to say, however, is that love for you still remains - you were a loyal soldier, and you are akin to a little brother. Family does not have to always get along to love one another. You are not to be allowed in Prospera, but you are free to correspond if you wish - I will return the sentiment.

But, this was not the only reason I am making this announcement today. Children are an extension of us, and that’s what everyone believes - but that is not what I believe, personally. My children are not me, and they do not have to be. For that reason, I announce Genevieve as the new Archduchess of Prospera. She will lead you well, and she will ensure a just rule.

Pierre has assumed control of House dul Vique, and will be acting out the will of Ysayl dul Vique as she commanded. He is young, and was reckless, but he has learned from his mistakes. I see a great leader in him, and I am hopeful of him.

As for myself, I have been called to service in the Republic, and I will ensure to be a just man there as well - to serve as the High Chancellor.  And this is a message to the rest of you - Atrellyan and Western. You give onto the world as you wish to take onto yourselves. Nothing, as you will leave nothing when your time comes.

⚜ The Archduke Melos dul Vique has been called into service as the new High Chancellor of the Republic.

⚜ Pierre dul Vique is now the Head of House dul Vique.

⚜ Cilian A. Equisol is the Lord Commander of the military. Those who seek to join Prospera's guard are encouraged to speak to the Lord Commander.

⚜ Citizens of Prospera are encouraged to come forward and restate their citizenship or risk losing their properties to pave the way for a new generation of Prosperan citizens.

⚜  The undercity has begun to see reformations to better purpose its space for the city and the military. 

⚜  Prospera seeks to continue its interest in opening the Prospera Applied Science University under the name 'College of the Republic' where allies and neutral states may come to learn.

⚜  Scholars and teachers of all subjects are encouraged to reach out to Archduchess Genevieve E. Equisol if they are interested in educating others.

⚜  The kingdom bids farewell to its prince Thomas G. Equisol and wishes him the best of luck and close partnership as he readies himself to become the Oracle of Gloomlight.
