In the past two years, Pleonexia had remained isolated and silent on the state of the world, content with trading at their own pace and flying under the general attention of the populace of the continent, however with the year closing down and the worse of the war assumedly coming to an end soon the board of chairmen that head the city finally put out an official statement.

People of Meranthe,

I come to you today as a representative of the Meritocracy of Pleonexia. My names is Lady Vosa, Voice of the Golden Dreamer and I as many of you have watched with a heavy heart as our continent has been ravaged by war. We know that many of you have lost everything, and that many of you are now seeking refuge in a new land.

Pleonexia welcomes you. We are a nation of immigrants, Merchants, Mercenaries and Creators. We are proud to offer a safe haven to those who are fleeing persecution and violence on both sides.

We understand that you may have strong feelings about the politics and wars of Meranthe. However, I must emphasize that Pleonexia is a neutral by virtue of being a trader state. We have no interest in getting involved in the conflicts of Meranthe. We also do not care about your beliefs. So long as they do not impede the growth of the city both literally and in the economic sense.

However, there are three things that we do care about: the peace, prosperity, and profitability of our city and its people. These are the foundations of our nation, and we will not tolerate anything that jeopardizes them.  So!  If you are seeking refuge in Pleonexia, you must be prepared to cast aside your old connections. You must be willing to adopt our values and our way of life. You must be willing to work hard and contribute to our vision of a utopian society where we can all enjoy the profits of our labor without fearing either the inquisitors hammer, or the monsters in the dark!

If you are willing to do these things, then Pleonexia is your home. We will welcome you with open arms, and we will help you to build a new life for yourself and your family. Simply bring your coin, and your skills, so that we might all prosper together.

• Pleonexia makes itself known upon the Isle of Gilded Blooms to the far north of the continent, between the fridged snowy forest above the volcano to the east and the vibrant forests of Dal'Thala to the west.
  

• Those who seek to join the growing settlement are asked to bring either the knowledge of some craft, be that alchemy, artificing, or some other form of esoteric understanding. Or to bring with them gold to help with the expanding and Maintenace of the city itself.
  

• New arrivals can speak with either Don Lucky Luciano or Speaker Vosa to join the settlement, or to discuss matters of business.
