Ever wanted to strike it rich? Tired of wasting all your hard earned coin on crates you know for a fact won't pay out more than you put in?
Have you ever wanted to make riches off a game of chance, but wished there was a modicum of skill involved?
House Kallis would like to invite you, (almost) all of Meranthe, to a game of Aphros Hold'Em.
Details:
This isn't just any game of Aphros Hold'Em poker mind you, this is an event for the extravagant and the wealthy, as such the buy in will be 20,000 coins. Allow us to further explain the rules:
A minimum of 5 players, a maximum of 8 depending on interest, will be allowed to participate in the tournament. Each player buys in with 20,000 coins, allowing them 18,000 chips (Kallis takes a 2,000 coin cut).
This means with a minimum of 5 players, for 20,000 coins one lucky player will win 90,000 coins, as it is played until every player but one has run out of chips. With 8 players? That's a 144,000 coin win for a 20,000 coin buy in.
But wait! There's more to win!
If you bust out, it's not over for you! Kallis will allow at least one buy-back for this event. This time, for 20,000 coins you can buy yourself back in with 15,000 chips (The Kallis cut increases to 5,000). This gives you the opportunity to win all of your money back and more! This means if you can beat your opponents and they all decide to buy back in? That's 165,000 coins in your pocket with five players, 264,000 with 8 players! You could be set for life from just one game of poker.
If the game proceeds too quickly? We'll allow a second buy-back, this time being 20,000 coins for 10,000 chips (the Kallis cut increases to 10,000). If you manage to win the tournament with all players buying back in twice? You'd win 215,000 coins with 5 players, 344,000 with 8!

As for the rules, Darius Kallis, the dealer, will double the blinds as he sees fit to make sure the game proceeds at a solid pace. The game functions as any other game of Aphros Hold'Em, with the exception of the blind positions moving one spot clockwise each hand. Don't worry if this is confusing, just play!
Please note, you will need to sign up for this poker night beforehand.
(Message Malek#3450 if you're interested in being a player, date will be set up when all players are chosen)
