Lady Montelione I regret to inform you that the various scouts and surveyors sent suffered casualties.
The number or dead versus missing at the moment is uncertain but there is good news.
The men were able to identify where the horrid things came from, even if they couldn't give
a useful description of the horrors. I'm afraid until this is handled any further work even on the edge of
the Shadowlands cannot take place. If you wish for your House to have a Castle here you'll
have to do something about that darkness first.

A deep sigh left the youngest Montelione, if Ember wanted to try to safeguard  Aphros' border and secure her family as landed
nobles then she would have to find out what assailed her men and halted even the first steps into the dark and gloomy
wood of the Shadowlands. But at least they had a location to search, a place no doubt filled with horrors
they'd need face to secure a legacy and security for Aphros and for House Montelione.

So much had changed in the past few years, Aphros was like a nightmare that haunted Ember.
