A memoir of short stories coming into a single prolific description on the aspect of life & death. Upon passing? This book will be revealed to the island of Meranthe. Whether done via being rewritten by the hands that'd made it... Or another. The beginning & end, are from a personal perspective.

Quote:Where am I...
Who am I...
What am...
I...

A voice calls out to me, from inside my head. It tells me of their story. The angst from such a thought? Could be felt... A determined creature which knew not no other way, but to press on. Forward, they whispered. March, until dawn... Until dusk. Until death does its part.

Who am I..
Where am I...
What...
Am...
I...

A letter in a bottle, would reach the shores of Meranthe... To the hands unexpectedly being the ones to open it? Could sense the feelings of dreed that were born in their eventual demise. The lives of those whom braved the storm-... Never to be heard of again.

Quote:A yo-ho-ho through the storm we row.

The journey untold, for we do not show.
No text, no scribes, no lore keeper notes.
Long gone and forgotten.
Through the storm we row.
A yo-ho-ho does our boat just go.
No end in sight, but clear cloudless skies.

Our journey untold.
For we all have died.

The bird has arrived, alone does it perch.
A screeching and a cawing.
Seeking death in its curse.

All know well, this symbol of sleep.
We know so well, as keep on our streak.
The days go on and the sea would speak.
It tells of the end, the one we seek!

So a yo-ho-ho.
To the edge of the world.
We wrote our story in song of this tale...

A yo-ho-ho.
Are we all afraid. The days grow darker...
And the suns grows pale.
The crow it stares and begins to gawk.
A hobble cross the sail, leaves us star-struck.

They'd pecked it not once, but twice then trice.
No longer could we row, left adrift countless nights.

...

....

.....

Why do we live, just to suffer?
Why have we rowed so bravely, just to die?
Why.
               Why..
                                Why...

From the ashes of boats and buildings lit aflame.

Both a sender and receiver. Neither allowed to hear final words.

Such pain... Reflected on the paper, a grudge; forevermore.

...Perched atop a tombstone, the silence of night gave weigh into the shadow of a crow. The moons glow reflecting off the crimson surface, resting beside a riverbed. Portraying, an image of tears...
Quote:I had thought, we would always be together... To watch me someday take my first; real steps... Across meranthe.

I had thought, the concept of death and its end? Would by now, be a familiar attachment.

I had...

Had.

Thoughts...

But now they've all become distance memories. Reminding in my sleep, of what dread came to arrive in the wake of realization... I had seen that scene occur once before. In the dreamscape. You, father... Were bested by the hands of the righteous and I? Only to be left unable to bare the sight. Interlocked between reasoning and desires. A lack of had become the primary disease; I still suffer from. But that isn't the worst part about it all though...

The worst thing?

Is I cannot even; feel... Sorrow nor; the fury that burns, like in my kindred. How I'd long suppressed such an instinct... For I never saw any reason to indulge into them. A meager vice of enjoyment in the moment. Whereas knowledge? Knowledge... Is eternal.  Alas such would assuredly be the case, for I learned a most valuable lesson. In your death...
Created, in a dark drawer. Born into a single command... Raised by the hand of man... Forced to endure the trials & tribulations of demonic heritage.

I am no different, than those whom have taken you away from me...

I will always be-... A monster.
