Niclous hailed from a far-off land deep in the wilds of another continent, after many months at sea he came to Meranthe. For nearly a year he resided on the streets of Dal'thala the wooded area being his home before he was able to venture out into the wilds on his own, there he learned of the presence of undead and demons that roamed the lands praying on those unable to defend themselves. As the months passed, he would often see them roaming the main roads and attacking other's along the path, the boy unable to do much besides run through the trees as the wind carried him helping him evade them with his agility. This aided the boy well in his travel's, a faithful day came where this method would fail him through, and he would be forced to defend himself for the first time. Seeing a girl roughly his age in danger he decided to leap into action and try to play hero. Successfully fending off the demon and giving her time to escape.

Passing through the woods the same year he came across another demon attack. Lila and Arthur two who he would later in life come to call friends were fighting off demons on the main road. More and more continuing to attack them both. Seeing another off to the side he moved over to speak with them and try to see who they were. After Lila would defeat a cambian another demon would come forth and attack her. Stepping in to try and fend the creature off Nic would be met with droves of small imps armed to the tooth with small knives and other sharp objects. The young boy able to escape with his life but would be scared for some time from the defeat at the hands of the demons.

After getting patched up a local of Dal'thala and Nic made their way out to go collect crystal's from the final frontier. While in the middle of doing so the woman Kira and Nic were attack by two giants. After fending off one the other went to attack the woman. Niclous doing his best tried to intercept them but being a novice magi that he was and still a child he was swiftly dealt with and kicked off to the side. From the start the boy knew the difference in strength, using his speed to run up and land a few rather pathetic punches onto Elebrus before he had his chest caved in and kicked across the frozen desert.

A day out on patrol as the boy would move through the brush, ducking and weaving his way across the borders of Dal'thala as he did normally on his own. Bobbing and weaving through the treetops. Spotting a familiar Feline down on the ground he made his approach. Tackling her to the ground and letting his guard down. As they spoke and caught up a demon emerged. Niclous acting on his master's words would then do what he could to fight off the demon only to lose and then watch as Felicity was defeated losing her arm in the process. Leaving the young ranger with a loathing to grow stronger but not simply for his own gain.

At this stage in his life the ranger had already adapted a shoot first and ask questions later when it came to demon kind. Foraging supplies in the swamps near Aphros two undead happened to come upon the ranger, one of them striking him with a curse and forcing him to see images of helhiem itself as the other swung it's blade down attempting to take the boy's head clean off from his shoulders. Through sheer determination and just being slightly more powerful then the undead was he able to pull through and fend the two of them off escaping any harm from his attackers. Learning the importance of prayer's and curses on this day.

Meeting a young child on his wondering through the lands he made it a point to escort the boy back to his home, upon arriving and talking with those there Niclous found out one of them was a cambion. The Cambion knowing of the dragon named smile the very one that took his friends arm. In a fit of rage the boy lashed out at the being. Losing the battle and one of his eye's in the process. Though he was broken and wounded the injury would soon come to become his greatest ally.

Attempting to rip the sign from the ground he was met by force from Misperis a bandit he had faced before in Delphina. Having quickly defeated her then he went to try and do the same this time around making sure to enforce the peace and laws of the land onto the brigand.

Patrolling out near the boarder of Abernrot Nic came across a group of sailor's fighting with a demon, the two on the ropes and looking as if things could become dire he lept into action fending off the demon only to be assulted by another Luka. The two being of the same magic's through niclous off a great degree. The ookami's use of illusion's to alter the ranger's sense of perception and utterly leading to his defeat. A vicious blast of sound having ruptured his ear drum's causing him to be mostly deaf for a time. Yet like from every battle he fought he pulled what experience and knowledge he could from it to enhance his own arsenal and for this he would take a few of the fellow ookami's tactics.

After having his artificial eye for many years now the ranger opted to get it upgraded to a slight degree, asking his trusted mother figure if such a thing was possible he wished to be able to use it to have control over the shadows to aide his illusion's. Meeting the witch known as Eclipse was a turning point for the ranger, her familiarity with him and the other's of Dal'Thala baffling him and even sending him into a state of panic at points. Yet for some reason there was a fascination with them or rather an undying yielding wish to try and save them from what they had become. A chance meeting of fate would Niclous come upon the witch once more, mere days after his first encounter with them. The chatter they held before battle felt that of light banter between friends. This then confusing the ranger and causing him to wonder just who was under the mask. A battle then ensued with Eclipse besting the ookami. A curse being placed on his mind to cast doubt and mistrust in everything always feeling as if he was being watched under the shroud of darkness. This opened the man's eye's to the truth of things and how they played out not everything was as black and white as other's made him to believe like he had his whole life up until now.

The usual rounds of the wilderness were done either alone or with a group of other's willing to go on a hunt. This time around Liz a knight of Aphros would accompany Niclous on a walk of sorts. Them setting an ambush up on the road to catch a demon while they were traveling about. Fighting them back to back the demon was driven back into it's territory. The ranger no longer seeing any point in holding the creatures in any regard with honor. To the ookami it was a simple fight of life and death between the two forces. In this fight he began to dispaly the warrior he had started to become, striking at his opponents blind spots and using shadow's and illusion's to cover his tracks and movement.

After months of searching for the witch Eclipse he was finally graced with a visit in her words, the one upon a time interest soon becoming an obsession of the ranger. His thoughts thinking on just who they were and what they could do to save them from themselves. As he was getting his palm read by the priestess a sudden drowsiness would strike him. Overcoming it the first time but falling prey to it the next. Taken to a world of dream's and false reality molded after only hel itself could Nic imagine. There he was asked to sign away his soul in order to recieve more power, declining the offer yet willing to provide aid to the fugitive in their time of need even going as far as to say they would save them.

A chance meeting that would change his life forever, a child roaming the streets of the city he called home. Resembling much of himself when he had first came to Del'phina. The feeling of helplessness he had back then without the aide of another caused him to go to bed many nights hungry and cold. A friendly offer of food would then turn into his soon adoption of the girl known as Katey. Forging a strength in the man he never knew was possible and making him carry on no matter the situation or stakes placed against him. Though this be their first encounter it would be the one that would lead him to call the child his daughter in the coming years a driving force of his determination.

A creature of the night stalking it's pray came upon Niclous in the shadowlands after the fall of Abenrot. The creature remembering the ranger taking part in the large scale invasion he would confuse and daze Nic and alter his sense of time and perception leaving him to wander the dark forest. While his daughter and Rae continued to fight the creature he was attacked by an assassin that had previously attacked Rae. This time it aiming to take his own life. In the flurry of battle and dissarry from the runes placed onto his body he was able to overcome the assailant putting his mental fortitude to the test and letting his body rely on the muscle memory of the decades of training as a ranger. With the large skirmish coming to an end he was made to question the balance of things in question now, did the fae perhaps have a point?

Spotting a demon in the fields north of Aphros Nic began with a usual approach, his movements and actions lacking any or little sign of his signature lightning magic, his arts soley relying on the use of shadow and wind. The continuous assault on the demons senses with smoke and sound grenades and the constant repositioning of his presence and alteration of reality aided in taking the demon down. having developed a variety of skill's and tools over the years of his service the man-made use of them as a full-fledged ranger of the forest.

The silence of the night comforting the ranger after having many episodes of panic and illusion's a constant accompanied by a nonexistence of sleep. A battle off in the distance of the night, the ranger standing up now his mind and body taking in the pungent amount of residue dark mana in the air. His mind lost to the darkness now as his only goal was one thing only the eradication of the things that would creep in the night. The skills of a ranger holding true as his mind slipped further and further into the darkness. Fighting demons back to back the wounds and estranged ranger ended up losing after a time. A day like any other turned dark, the man's mind slipping and feeling as he was losing himself made a break for the exit of the city aiming to put enough distance between himself and those who called it home. As he was attempting to flee the city he was stopped by his mother and another figure. The stranger and Niclous then coming to blows as the ranger would unleash a flurry of different attacks confusing and disorienting his foe and then bringing them within his grasp. Arc's of wind would slice the rykuza up and heavily damage their skin causing them to have a non fatal wound from the encounter and the ranger fleeing the city then there after. Panic and confusion reigning over him.

After nearly a year of being told to harness the occult mana inside of him and leaving the city of Delphina Niclous would have now been considering fully resigning from the Elzara as an officer. Having worked year's to achieve this rank yet now he felt no honor or desire to protect the forest as he once did. His goal's now focused on merly protecting those around him. Over the time since he left various times of meditation and time had been spent with the occultic faeborn. Continueing his practice to still patrol out on his own along the boarder's of Delphina he comes across an unusual gathering in the forest. A Faeborn adorned with blue hair a familiar face from his time in the city in passing by conversing with two that stunk of death. The talk's they then held with the ranger hiding his presence from the two would revel a bit about who they were and what the goal of the duo was with the faeborn. After reveling himself to one from Delphina would begin to curse him and slander him saying that he was nothing more then a mangey thing that had been nothing more then an eyesore to the city of Delphina. Hearing these words from one who he had vowed to and had helped protect for years now would break what respect he held for those who lived in the forest, letting him think her thoughts were the case with the rest. As she fled the two undead who had been meeting with her attacked the ranger both at the same time. overpowering him with the diversity of their magics and sheer control of the area.

Meeting Roman was a silver lining for the ranger and faeborn. Finding a group that was not the deephold in which they both could reside in, the ranger soon commandeering his own ship that was stolen from Aen and he paid for on the black market. The name of the thief not to be disclosed due to a verbal agreement between them. After a time he was even promoted to second in command of the band of pirates. The once proud ranger turned rouge.

Taking a crewmate out to do some foraging with him Nic had agreed to meet the larger batch of pirates at a spot on the mainland, the focus of this trip to be able to pick a fight with a local group of brigands that had set up a network of toll bridges across the land. As the battles continued to be fought as he arrived he saw Vienna being struck down by a holy magi and a variety of goblins aiming to try and lift the gold from his crewmates pockets. A flurry of emotion then emerged in the rouge as he stepped into action aiming to take everything from the holy magi at first but only able to curse them when the battle had been won and make away with their grimoire. After the battle of the bridge with the brigands a worshipper of the demons would be speaking with Roman, with the game of wits not ending up in the captians favor he would instruct the battle weary ranger to capture her. The ranger then being confronted in the city of Aphros and a threat made on his life. Everything being brought to light in the public square making him unable to return to the city as himself. A wanted poster being made holding his name and image and spread across the land dead or alive. These actions from those in Delphina showing exactly what his worth was to them all along, not even one who really know him able to confront him on all that had happened the thing that broke his spirt the most.

A creature of the night stalking it's pray came upon Niclous in the shadowlands after the fall of Abenrot. The creature remembering the ranger taking part in the large scale invasion he would confuse and daze Nic and alter his sense of time and perception leaving him to wander the dark forest. While his daughter and Rae continued to fight the creature he was attacked by an assassin that had previously attacked Rae. This time it aiming to take his own life. In the flurry of battle and dissarry from the runes placed onto his body he was able to overcome the assailant putting his mental fortitude to the test and letting his body rely on the muscle memory of the decades of training as a ranger. With the large skirmish coming to an end he was made to question the balance of things in question now, did the fae perhaps have a point?

Spotting a demon in the fields north of Aphros Nic began with a usual approach, his movements and actions lacking any or little sign of his signature lightning magic, his arts soley relying on the use of shadow and wind. The continuous assault on the demons senses with smoke and sound grenades and the constant repositioning of his presence and alteration of reality aided in taking the demon down. having developed a variety of skill's and tools over the years of his service the man-made use of them as a full-fledged ranger of the forest.

The silence of the night comforting the ranger after having many episodes of panic and illusion's a constant accompanied by a nonexistence of sleep. A battle off in the distance of the night, the ranger standing up now his mind and body taking in the pungent amount of residue dark mana in the air. His mind lost to the darkness now as his only goal was one thing only the eradication of the things that would creep in the night. The skills of a ranger holding true as his mind slipped further and further into the darkness. Fighting demons back to back the wounds and estranged ranger ended up losing after a time. His mind finally able to rest ironically with the help of a demon removing a portion of his memories.

A day like any other turned dark, the man's mind slipping and feeling as he was losing himself made a break for the exit of the city aiming to put enough distance between himself and those who called it home. As he was attempting to flee the city he was stopped by his mother and another figure. The stranger and Niclous then coming to blows as the ranger would unleash a flurry of different attacks confusing and disorienting his foe and then bringing them within his grasp. Arc's of wind would slice the rykuza up and heavily damage their skin causing them to have a non fatal wound from the encounter and the ranger fleeing the city then there after. Panic and confusion reigning over him.

After nearly a year of being told to harness the occult mana inside of him and leaving the city of Delphina Niclous would have now been considering fully resigning from the Elzara as an officer. Having worked year's to achieve this rank yet now he felt no honor or desire to protect the forest as he once did. His goal's now focused on merly protecting those around him. Over the time since he left various times of meditation and time had been spent with the occultic faeborn. Them often leaning on one another in the times of hardship and eventually leading up to her teaching him how to harness the darkness inside him and learn to fuel it even further.

Continueing his practice to still patrol out on his own along the boarder's of Delphina he comes across an unusual gathering in the forest. A Faeborn adorned with blue hair a familiar face from his time in the city in passing by conversing with two that stunk of death. The talk's they then held with the ranger hiding his presence from the two would revel a bit about who they were and what the goal of the duo was with the faeborn. After reveling himself to one from Delphina would begin to curse him and slander him saying that he was nothing more then a mangey thing that had been nothing more then an eyesore to the city of Delphina. Hearing these words from one who he had vowed to and had helped protect for years now would break what respect he held for those who lived in the forest, letting him think her thoughts were the case with the rest. As she fled the two undead who had been meeting with her attacked the ranger both at the same time. overpowering him with the diversity of their magics and sheer control of the area.

Making his rounds around the land of Meranthe he spotted a demon in the open at the swamps. Administering a warning to them it would then ready it's mana and begin to attack the ranger. Outclassing it in strength and skill Niclous took this chance to draw in some of it's occult mana as he would make use of his various skills and tools as a ranger to win him the battle leaving the demon in a weakened state.

Meeting Roman was a silver lining for the ranger and faeborn. Finding a group that was not the deephold in which they both could reside in, the ranger soon commandeering his own ship that was stolen from Aen and he paid for on the black market. The name of the thief not to be disclosed due to a verbal agreement between them. After a time he was even promoted to second in command of the band of pirates. The once proud ranger turned rouge.

Taking a crewmate out to do some foraging with him Nic had agreed to meet the larger batch of pirates at a spot on the mainland, the focus of this trip to be able to pick a fight with a local group of brigands that had set up a network of toll bridges across the land. As the battles continued to be fought as he arrived he saw Vienna being struck down by a holy magi and a variety of goblins aiming to try and lift the gold from his crewmates pockets. A flurry of emotion then emerged in the rouge as he stepped into action aiming to take everything from the holy magi at first but only able to curse them when the battle had been won and make away with their grimoire. Niclous now having a good degree of control over the darkness inside of himself. Fighting through the various wounds and injuries he held from his battles.

After the battle of the bridge with the brigands a worshipper of the demons would be speaking with Roman, with the game of wits not ending up in the captians favor he would instruct the battle weary ranger to capture her. Him making chase and catching her through the smoke she had produced with a dreamline bomb the battle was fought with him able to have the upper hand though they both bore multiple injuries. With her then boarding the ship of her own will to have talk's with the crew.

After years of having left Delphina word of his actions had reached the ear's of those in the Elzara and royal family. The ranger then being confronted in the city of Aphros and a threat made on his life. Everything being brought to light in the public square making him unable to return to the city as himself. A wanted poster being made holding his name and image and spread across the land dead or alive. These actions from those in Delphina showing exactly what his worth was to them all along, not even one who really know him able to confront him on all that had happened the thing that broke his spirt the most.
