To Purge In Flame [Aen vs The Deep Hold] Part I

The southern seas of Meranthe stir. Vessels flying the flag of the Aen Royal Navy can be spotted patrolling the waters near the south banks of the Shadowlands, quelling any attempt to see them dislodged. Such could only mean one thing-- the preparations were finished, at long last.

Aen was sounding the drums of war once more, after a near-decade of silence.

A call to all that views itself as just, and fair to join in Her ambition to eradicate the evil which lurked deep within. For soon, fire, and brimstone would be upon those lands, led by the two Captains of Lyonesse.

"Heed the call, ye dogs o' the sea! What do ye fight fer? Her Majesty? The 'Greater good'? Petty revenge? I don' give a flyin' feck 'bout yer motives, o' yer creed, o' whichever cesspool ye clawed yer way out o'. We fight t'burn out a tumor plaguin' this land, be it fer whichever reason that stokes that flame 'n yer hearts.

So grab yer damn weapon 'n make sure she's workin', 'cause she's seein' use t'night!"

Aen calls upon the people of Delphina, and Vdalion to honour their agreements.

Aphros, however, is merely encouraged to request an audience with one of the Captains should they wish to assist.

In either case, the order goes as follows:
No Occultist vulnerable to the sway of the Calamities shall set foot upon this battlefield.

Banners are lifted into the air, shadows continue to extend across the cursed landscape, and there is a reported increase in evil entities and corpses wandering.

    

A horde could be seen prowling the outlying borders, and boats floating towards them could be seen in the mist just over the horizon.

   

Scouts report such an event, screeches fill the air, and the throng can be seen assembling, coming together once more.

    

Marching... Nothing will stand in their way, and their pledge of change will be kept.
